    Great for a rest after a long haul flight

    Great hotel for a rest after a long overnight flight, I was able to upgrade to early check in so I could get a bed when I arrived at midday. Room was great, glad to have some Barry’s tea. The staff at check in was very good as I was very tried and slightly confused when I arrived so they showed me straight to the room! Good location to walk to garage too and great shuttle to and from the hotel with luggage.

    Stayed over at the Maldron twice in the past three weeks and it is consistently excellent from the reception staff who couldn't be more helpful.and accommodating to the bar staff and dining room wait staff. It is our hotel of choice for Dublin airport. Excellent dinner on both evenings. The food is always good and great breakfast too with lots of choice and something for everyone. The shuttle bus drivers also warrant a mention as they are courteous and extremely helpful. Highly recommend.     A very friendly hotel where most of the time passing customers are quickly turned around but there is a charm with a personalised touch if you want it Check in and out so easy.They stowed my bags before check in safely.Rooms are what you require to spec. Clean and comfortable. Decent WiFi. Plenty of charging points.Showers hot and powerful as you want.Beds amazing for a night sleep.Rooms service available. Tea coffee water biscuits available in room.It's not perfectly quiet, you wouldn't expect it to be due to proximity, but non invasive.Bar service was ok, I enjoyed a Guinness as is the law in Ireland.Other options available.Small seating area with big screen.Restaurant busy. I was solo at start of the eve, you may need to book ahead in busy times if you are time constraint.I had steak and brickley sides.Very nice. Not amazing blow you away, but very nice and served immensely by Moises.Probably most expensive on menu I'm not complaining about price but compared to where I live I think it's over priced. In this environment with not much competition and the way Dublin is... probably near where it should be.One major advantage this hotel offers is the free shuttle service to and from airport serving both terminals.Every 20 mins in busy times or 30 mins depending on flight times. No need to book just roll up, but in busy times you might be not allowed on if it is full - no standing room - but you just wait for the next one.Or walk... it's about 10-15mins from Terminal 1 depending on luggage.Really efficient and friendly, good advert for the hotel.I enjoyed my time there with Maldon, it was booked for convenience and was pleasantly surprised at how their staff engage. If you do too.I can see business meetings and tourists. Families couples or solo. It attracts a diverse lot....all except the party people (which is a benefit to me) but it might be wrong time I was there.This is firmly in 4* territory, and expectations on service certainly deliver that.Thank you for a nice stay!     EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR A MEDIOCRE HOTEL

    The hotel room was adequate. However as the room was cold and the heating controls did nothing we enquired at Reception about how to increase the temperature in the room and were told that the heating doesn't come on until 6pm. Very odd for a hotel with a 3pm check in. The room was situated where two corridors merged and a stairwell sat right at that same corner so there was constant noise from fellow guests passing the door. We had booked the room as we were catching an early morning flight, so would be up around 2.30am. Needless to say we slept very little and decided the cost of the room far exceeded the service we received. The one advantage is the close proximity to the airport. We will not be staying at this hotel again.     Staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom clean. Carpet was stained and smelly.
