Lacking in what you should get for your money.

    rating02 Apr 2026

All self service checkin and out and wont let you check in before 2.30pm even if your room might be ready, must pay extra for that. We then left hotel and came back an hour later to check in and as expected, a queue of people waiting to check in, then once we did get a free computer and checked in I went to find someone to ask where to go to get to rooms, She pointed out the elevators with the big red lights almost mockingly but in my defence they were around a corner and for first timers this wouldnt be obvious, Strange room lay out with no space around bed so made it awkward to get out during night for the toilet. No wardrobe only wire hangers hanging from the wall. No decent coffee and no fridge in room and very minimal toiletries. Couldnt find the hairdryer for ages and eventually located it hidden in underbed storage drawer. Our view was of the rubbish bins from their ongoing building works. The room seemed very clean until we spotted very large spider webs covering the top of the window frame under the blinds, I dont blame the cleaners though, Whoever designed the rooms didnt think of them having to climb across a big bed while balancing on it to reach the top of the window frame. When we were there the main bar and restaurant didnt open until 5pm which was too late for us to eat a proper meal and then try make a concert so we ate outside hotel. All in all for what you spend to stay here, I think theres better in Dublin for the money and a decent location and a few cool features in the lobby doesnt make up for the lack of service and facilities.

    Clean, comfortable, central location

    rating01 Apr 2026

Very central. Just off St Stephen's Green.l, 5 min walk to grafton Street. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was amazing. My favourite was the quiet. Did not hear a sound all night from the corridors, other rooms or outside. Great for short stays in the city center. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would be happy to stay again and recommend to friends 😊 Marlin Hotel, Guest Services / Front Office at Marlin Hotel Stephens Green, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your lovely review. We had such an amazing time at the Marlin in Dublin for St. Patrticks Day! Everyone was very helpful and the toastys were great. One the last day of our stay, I got very sick. Anita down at the desk was just lovely. She got me water and got us back into our room quickly. We stayed for 3 more days and had the best time!
