    I stayed at the Mespil for three days during a conference and it was ideal. The location was very central to the venue, which made things easy.The hotel was spotless and my room was lovely and quiet, exactly what I needed to recharge after some intense work sessions. The staff (in all areas - restaurant, bar, reception, domestic) were exceptional; they were genuinely welcoming and always had a quick "hello" or "good morning" when you passed by.Food-wise, the breakfast was brilliant. It's also in a great area, being right by the canal was perfect for getting out for a walk or a run. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.     I don’t really leave reviews however, I’ve come on here especially to write one! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STAY!! We came over from England for my husbands 30th birthday. As we arrived we had the best surprise of having a complimentary room upgrade to a signature room, decorated with balloons, and banners, along with light up numbers “30” on the bedside! We also received a complimentary box of chocolates & 2 free welcome drinks! It was absolutely stunning & spotlessly clean! The Staff are so lovely and can’t do enough for you! Breakfast is incredible - so much choice with the option of fresh cooked items - we had the Belgian Waffles with Whipped Cream & Berries, best I’ve ever tasted! Our bathroom included shampoo, conditioner & body wash! Our room was cleaned every morning! Book here without any hesitation- you won’t be disappointed!!     This was our second time staying in the mespil. We stayed on this occasion for my husbands birthday. The staff could not do enough for us. Fasheen, Cubel and Alicia looked after us so well. They treated us to a studio room which was gorgeous and even gave my husband some chocolates and a complimentary drink for his birthday. The hotel is spotless and so well maintained. We have already booked to come back in July.     This hotel was perfect for us as we decided to get a rental car during our 3-day visit to Dublin. The parking lot (behind the hotel) is complimentary, so be sure to arrive early to grab the spot. We returned after 10 p.m. on Saturday, and the lot was full. But we were able to park on the street for free (permit required Monday to Friday). The room itself was very modern, comfortable, and luxurious. It is too bad that the complimentary chocolate and cookies were not refilled after the first night. The bed was very comfortable, and we were able to rest up when the front desk gave us the room early at 12:30 p.m.We didn’t partake in the breakfast, but the room service is reasonable at around 15 euros/person. It is about a 15-minute walk to St. Stephen’s Green, but the walk itself was pleasant, and there are a ton of less touristy restaurants nearby.
