Location

The tallest hotel in Dublin, this establishment has recently opened, just 5 minutes from Dublin airport and 15 minutes from the city centre. Guests will reach Croke Park in only 10 minutes by car, making it the ideal location for all sporting events.

Facility

16 suites, 30 apartments, 12 single rooms and 64 double rooms are located on 15 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The apartment hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub.     Location was good, the shuttle from the airport was nice to have and saved us a little bit of money. The buses ran close by so that was convenient as far as getting around. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

    Booked here overnight as it's very close to the airport and I had an 8am international flight. Pricing was very good for the quality and location. The room itself was comfortable, heated well (cold and rainy outside) and very quiet. I'd arrived at 6pm, and there are a small supermarket and food stores just around the corner, but I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. Numerous food and wine choices and the meal was very good. Stopped for a drink at the bar (separate, but in the restaurant area) and had a nice chat with a couple of locals who were in for a drink. Staff were all great and very helpful. Overall strongly recommend.One item to note - book the airport shuttle the night before! And do not be late for it!! The 6:30am one I took was full, and left right on the dot at 6:30, so give yourself time to check out or drop the key off. They leave every half hour, at least on the weekday I was there.

    We didn't know which airport hotel to book for our last night in Dublin but we are so glad we chose the Metro hotel. The room was lovely - very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient and we couldn't have had a better welcome on our arrival from Mary on reception. The food was very good - we really enjoyed their Irish Stew! There was a great choice at breakfast too. All in all a lovely experience to end our time in Ireland.
