Facility

The hotel was built in 1866. 177 rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Breakfast was mediocre, cramped, excessively busy and with stressed staff. No coffee materialised and when I asked about it I was advised to go to the machine the staff use and get some there. There was one option - coffee. I had wanted decaf John Loughran, Owner at The Sandymount Hotel, responded to this review Dear Kate, Thank you for your review.The duties of our breakfast staff include continual service of tea/coffee to guest tables.     Great value, excellent service, homely atmosphere and everywhere is very accessible especially concert venues. Great to be able to park the car in a safe place and it doesn’t cost anything.
