  10 out of 10. Everything from the decor, ambience, food and friendliness of the staff was top class. This hotel, in our opinion, is suitable both for business (location in Dublin) and leisure time.We will be returning!

  A very pleasant stay

  I booked this hotel on Trivago but when I arrived Trivago had cancelled my booking without my knowledge or permission. They did however refund me my money. The owner gave me a reasonable deal in order not to disappoint me. The hotel is very cosy and homely and the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were first class. My room for a double was very small and had some of the basics missing. There was no wardrobe, no hangers, no chest of drawers, no ironing board, iron or fridge, all of which I expect in a 4 star hotel. However, the owner did supply some hangers later when I brought up the subject. There were pegs sticking out of the wall about 6 feet from the ground and that is where I was supposed to hang my clothes. She left a stool so that I could reach the pegs. I would never sleep in a room with clothes hanging around as it would look like bed-sit land. Many of the reviews state how spacious the rooms in this hotel were but mine certainly was not. However, despite the obvious drawbacks, I enjoyed my stay very much. The food was very good, the location was excellent and the room was very comfortable. However, I would never pay the 295 Euros the owner claimed this room usually cost.

  Heavenly at Haddington House

  We love it here and were so looking forward to a return visit.The rooms at the front are close to completion so our room was at the back. It was lovely, spacious and beautifully decorated, with lots of gorgeous bits and bobs. Very thoughtful additions such as straw beach bag for when it’s hot and a hot water bottle when a little cooler, obviously there is a charge if you ‘forget’ to leave them in the room on departure.The weather was kind to us so we were able to sit outside for a drink, the bar area is also fabulous, stunning decor and a very quaffable selection of cocktails. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was fabulous, there is a separate review. We did have an issue at breakfast however it was professionally dealt with by Paula on reception. Our feedback was constructively received. Another wonderful stay, we have reluctantly reduced our rating from ‘excellent’ to ‘very good’ in relation to our breakfast experience.We absolutely will return and hopefully will be able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms.

  Yet another 5 star experience in the HH. Still punching far above its weight. Our room might not have had a sea view but it had everything thing else to make our 3 nights memorable. Like the rest of the hotel it had style, comfort and cleanliness. Best breakfasts in Dublin. Reception staff could give lessons in friendliness and helpfulness. Could not have been nicer. (loved the muted background jazz music in parlour area) We love the seafront walks all within a minute from the hotel. Definitely one of our go-to hotels on East Coast. With ongoing improvements we can't wait to see finished results. 4 stars coming. J&J👍

  🌟 A Memorable Birthday Dinner at The Haddington** 🌟

  We had the most wonderful evening dining at the Haddington Hotel’s outdoor restaurant last night. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was top class, warm and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. A special thank you to the lovely manager (who recently returned from her Erasmus in Spain, apologies for not remembering your name!). She went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday truly special. Her thoughtful touches and genuine care made all the difference!Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stunning setting. We’ll definitely be back!
