Above and Beyond in Every Way Highly Recommend

    rating30 Mar 2026

My stay at the Merrion hotel Dublin over St Patrick’s day absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable.Breakfast each morning was a highlight in itself. The Irish breakfast was simply divine and set us up perfectly for the day.We were visiting over St Patrick’s Day, and the hotel added such a thoughtful festive touch by providing a chocolate leprechaun alongside a “pot of gold” dessert a delicious chocolate mousse creation that was as impressive as it was tasty. On arrival, we were also celebrating my friend’s birthday, and the hotel provided a gorgeous strawberry rose cake. It was such a personal, kind and memorable gesture that really made the occasion feel special. One thing that truly stood out was the warmth of the staff throughout the hotel. Between our rooms and breakfast alone, I must have exchanged “good mornings” at least eight times every single one genuine and friendly.Overall, a truly outstanding stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin! This lovely hotel is well-located in Dublin and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The service was wonderful from check-in to check-out, and we felt well cared for throughout our stay. From good service at the restaurants and bars - The Garden Room, The 23 Bar, the Cellar Bar, and the Drawing Rooms - to great recommendations from the concierge team, every detail of our stay was taken care of. Wonderful peaceful stay in the heart of Dublin

    rating14 Mar 2026

We spent my birthday weekend at the Merrion, and it exceeded expectations. The hotel was under refurb but we didn't notice it at all. The place itself is very well located, close to pubs and not far from the center but still removed for some peace and quiet. Our rate included breakfast which we recommend highly. Excellent service and food. We didn't use the gym as it was closed, but the in-room amenities were great. Comfortable bed, big bath, and everything was thought through. They left a glasses wipe and case out for me, some spare toiletries and water and slippers.
