Located on Dublin's Georgian Merrion Square and approximately five minutes' walk from Grafton Street beside Trinity College, this charming conference hotel is easily accessible using private and public transport, with Busuras bus station just 800 m away and Pearse station 100 m away. Dawson Street, with its bars, restaurants, pub and clubs, is just 300 m away, while the shops on Grafton Street are just a 400 m walk. Popular tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, the National Museum, National Library and the government buildings, are all within the hotel's immediate vicinity. Dublin Airport is approximately 30 to 45 minutes (8 km) away.

    We loved the style of the hotel, the room, the area next to the Merrion Square. The breakfast was delicious! I have never seen a hotel gym this big and this well equipped. Overall the best hotel in that price range I have ever experienced. And the staff was even better: I have never met such a helpful and kind team of people. Thank you very much for making this stay truly special!

    Overall great stay! Very comfortable bed and the blackout shades were the best I’ve ever experienced and a game changer as a light sensitive sleeper. The room was so tiny with no where to store luggage, I understand it’s a city but we have travelled and stayed in many major cities and at least had a place to store luggage without tripping over it anytime you moved. Staff was great and very friendly , and liked the cocktail bar attached. Perfect location - close enough to walk to everything but also away from the craziness. Check in at 4 is kind of annoying - gave our phone number and they never contacted us when the room was ready. Went back a little before 4 and it was ready, but was never contacted like they told us they would. They did grant us 1 hour late check out which was appreciated in return.

    Had such a lovely overnight stay at The Mont, porn star martini before heading out was lovely, had a lovely night out with the girls. Came back to the hotel and Peter James was so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and wide range of breakfast buffet. Definitely be back in August for a night out.

    Fab location,walking distance to everything without being in the madness of it all! Right opposite the childhood home of Oscar Wilde, next to his statue in Merrion Square. Lovely comfortable room, photos dont do it justice! Everything looked new/updated/on trend and very clean. Staff all very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Santiago

    Some hotels provide room, board, and occasionally do it with a few extras, but this Is Not That. The Mont is a gem of a hotel in a fantastic city, don't hesitate to book. The room we're in is called a cosy double - and it couldn't be more appropriate. Clean, really clean, lovely shower, really lovely shower, really cozy bed/linens, we're crazy Americans, so we could control the temperature, kept the room freezing, the way we like it. Well-designed, attractive, and a really fun experience. After a forever flight from JFK, we were warmly welcomed as tho the front desk had been waiting for us. Tonight, at midnite, Peter and Claudia continued the excellent customer service we'd enjoyed since checking in, helping us with airport taxi timing - we feel like we're in really good hands with the front desk staff. Lots of good information, tips, and kindness. Don't miss the breakfast - it's really remarkable. All the things, plus plus plus: fresh Irish soda bread (yum), delicious yogurt with all the fixins, yummy jams and preserves, and, hello....what is this? A hunk of live bee honey hive, seriously stunning. I will never forget that. Gorgeous hand-thrown bowls, coffee cups and plates, I wanted to put several of them in my bag and steal them. Oh, and the gym, which is insane. It's good enough that they could charge non-hotel people to join, had every machine I could imagine, was so clean and cool and chill. Perfection. Also, a fun fact: every taxi driver we met, every single one knew "The Mont" - we never needed to provide an address. An absolute perfect location - can't recommend this property any higher without you thinking I'm getting paid....... !
