    The location is great. Really nice and quiet area with a bus stop right at the front door and a supermarket next to the hotel. It was also roughly 30 mins walking to the city centre so that’s great if you like walking!

    Possibly one of the most unpleasant hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, the reception area felt uninviting and the hallways had more of a hostel-like feel than a hotel. The bedroom itself was extremely basic, closer to a hospital ward than somewhere you’d expect to relax.The bathroom was a wet room with worn, dirty lino flooring and the shower was broken, spraying water in all directions. The “double” bed was simply two singles pushed together, which made for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep.What stood out most was the complete lack of comfort, something you naturally expect from a hotel. I deliberately spent as little time in the room as possible. When I raised concerns with reception upon arrival, nothing was done and there was little interest in resolving the issues or following up. The same response was given when I mentioned it again upon leaving.The room itself was cold, with a loose, insecure window fitting. Heating relied on a radiator, as there was no air conditioning. The WiFi didn’t work at all, forcing me to use my mobile hotspot.Overall, a very poor experience. Unclean, uncomfortable and badly maintained. I certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for even a basic level of comfort.

    The hotel has everything you might need, not in the city centre but great bus connection just outsite the door. Comfy and clean rooms with tea and coffee facilities. The staff are amazing, special thanks to Isabel, Camilia and the very night receptionist Adrian.

    Short 2 night stay . Affordable and fit my needs and the location was good . They had parking but I didn’t need it . The receptionist Isabel was really nice and helpful .Will stay here next time I’m back

    My short stay at Travelodge Rathmines was unbelievable thanks to Camelia! She was so helpful with any questions I had regarding travel . She was so hospitable and nice! Camelia helped me with tickets a hop on hop off tour and it was great. She is truly amazing.
