  Fabulous location, 24 hour reception. On river liffey.

  We had a great stay at Wynn’s Hotel in Dublin. The location was fantastic — close to everything and incredibly convenient for our arrival. We flew overnight into Dublin and booked the hotel for the night before so we could head straight there from the airport. The Dublin Express bus stops at Aston Quay, which is only about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, making it very easy after a long flight.The breakfast included with the stay was excellent and substantial, and we appreciated the 24-hour reception desk. The old-fashioned heavy room key was actually kind of a fun novelty, and you can leave it at reception when you go out and pick it up when you return.A few things to note for future guests: not all rooms have air conditioning, so if that matters to you, be sure to request it when booking. We didn’t realize this and happened to visit during a heat wave, although thankfully it still wasn’t too uncomfortable. Because of the central location and proximity to the tram, the area can be a little noisy at times, but for us the prime location was absolutely worth it.The reception staff were friendly, though not always especially helpful when we asked about getting a fan or whether housekeeping could still come later in the day since jet lag had us sleeping at odd hours. Also, no washcloths were provided, which may matter to some travelers. Did not see water or ice available anywhere. There were a lot of pillows on the bed however. Room was very clean and included a safe. Good quality hair dryer was provided and plenty of outlets throughout the room. We stayed on floor 2 and had a double bed and a single bed. No mini fridge, just a 'cooling' fridge like appliance but that noted in the listing. We did not drink at the bar. Overall, this is a charming, well-located hotel with great breakfast and easy airport access — we would definitely consider staying here again.

  No A/C - Loud - Rough area - FRIENDLY STAFF!

  The hotel is in a rough area and it’s very loud!! Since the hotel does NOT have A/C (which we were not aware of since some of the rooms do have A/C) you have to keep the windows open. Garbage trucks, party crowds all hours of the night. The room was fine, very clean! The staff is so friendly!

  Disappointed. Plastic cups in the bathroom and bedroom for water.Bathroom towels small, and cheap toilet paper.Breakfast not as good as I'd hoped, it was good enough, just nothing that special.

  Very centrally located on Abbey Street, Luas stop right outside the hotel and O'Connell St, and henry street close by Grafton street a short walk. Lovely staff , excellent breakfast with table service for the hot selection and coffee and juice. very good selection of bread, muffins, croissants jam fruit and cereals available with a full range of hot options made to order as well. Lovely room, warm and large bathroom.

  15 of my colleagues from student days had a reunion lunch .Service and atmosphere was excellent. Beautiful hotel .staff made it a most enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend for any event.
