  Very bad customer service and booking experience.

  I made a booking at this hotel 13 days before the booking would begin. Within 24 hours I needed to cancel due to work leave approval (which was initially provided) then being cancelled. I requested a refund for the booking amount (which was for 2 nights) and made this cancellation request within 24 hours of the initial booking. The hotel just stopped responding to me.The hotel denied this request and kept the full amount. Therefore I had a very bad customer service experience with this hotel and do not recommend them at all. Taking the full fee when a cancellation is made within 24 hours, 13 days before the booking starts is not the right way to treat customers. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

  Amazing Views

  The B&B is not centrally located and is up quite high off the coast however this just meant exceptional views. Additionally there is a bus stop right beside the B&B which is very cheap and quite frequent with the drive down about 10 minute's so I would not let the height or distance away deter you. The staff were amazing, always available and extremely helpful with anything we needed. We had a balcony which meant we got breakfast served to our room every morning to enjoy with the wonderful views. The food itself was fairly standard but there was plenty to eat which filled us up for the day. We would definitely recommend

  The Perfect In-between Spot on Amalfi Coast

  We just left Al Pesce D'oro Bed & Breakfast. It was our first time on the Amalfi coast and spent quite a bit of time doing our research and trying to find a cute place that offered some amenities, but that also seemed to be centrally located. I'm so glad that we found Al Pesce D'oro. We rented a car on our way out of Rome. I know, I know... why would we do that? The answer is because we're in Italy for a month - now in Tuscany. The only way to do our journey with a month's worth of luggage and experiences is to rent a car. However, on the Amalfi coast, you don't want to really be driving. It's insanity and by the way, there is no place to park your car. The Al Pesce D'oro B&B offered a private parking lot which was a tremendous stress relief. We only tried to remove our car once on our first trip to the town of Amalfi (10 minutes away) and it was nearly impossible to park. We did find an open spot but we returned to the car to find out it had been towed. The operator, Alessio, at the B&B helped us call the local tow company and get our car back. it stayed in the lot thereafter and we used the busses and sea ferry's to go back to and forth from Positano to Amalfi and into Conca Dei Marini. The bed and breakfast itself was really clean, and the staff and people were so accommodating and nice. One person, in particular, Martina, was so pleasant and so cute. She helped us navigate many things and answered whenever we needed her. We would have just loved to spend some time with just her - she was so wonderful. Our room had a private little balcony that hung over the sea. They brought breakfast to our room every morning and set it up on the balcony. They also had bus tickets at the office area of the business. The restaurant below is known for its seafood dishes. We had a few really great meals there and the staff was equally wonderful. I really can't recommend this place enough. They also own a luxury villa that is available for rent higher up the hill I believe. This family can provide any experience you are looking for and its right in between the main town of interest on the Amalfi coast.   Very unprofessional business practice. Reservation made in December 28th 2021 for 3 nights. Ten months later and less than 2 weeks before our arrival they cancelled the reservation and said things change and this sometimes happens and sorry for inconvenience. We were already in Italy and had to scramble to find another place to stay. One thing to cancel but they had 10 moths to do so. Beware if you make a reservation here if you will actually have it when it is time. We are forced to do this when a valid credit card is not provided to guarantee the reservation, it is also a question of respecting the work of others by providing the right guarantees.Then there is a procedure that lasts several days in which we ask more than once to replace the invalid card, only after 2 days in which we do not receive an answer do we have the possibility to cancel the reservation.Kind regardsAlessio Civale

  Very friendly staff & amazing views

  Room was superb and spotless. Thanks to Agatha, one of the employees there, for being so kind to us. She encouraged us to go to the lemon tree garden with spectacular views of the ocean to enjoy the perfect breakfast she had prepared. It was unforgettable. Agatha really made us feel so welcome. Maria at reception was also very responsive to our inquiries. This hotel went above and beyond. Thank you!
