Location

Located in one of the most charming and picturesque place of Positano, on the Amalfi coast, the hotel overlooks the sea. It offers an unique position between sea and sky, not far from the shopping area and the centre. The hotel lies in the village, a-15 minute walk from the little square, the church and the main beach. From the property, guests can reach all the main points of interest in the area: Capri, Pompei, Vesuvius, Hercolaneum, Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello and the Emerald Grotto.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe.     We were very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Conca d'Oro. While the location and views are beautiful, the overall guest experience fell well below our expectations.The service at the restaurant was particularly disappointing. We felt specifically Alejandro was not welcoming, and communication was lacking. For example, no one informed guests that the buffet was being cleared away, which felt discourteous and poorly managed.The checkout experience was also frustrating. We received a call reminding us that it was time to check out, and there was no flexibility offered for a slightly later departure. Rather than feeling valued as guests, we felt rushed to leave.Additionally, the rooms were much smaller than expected, and no private terrace as it appears in the pictures, especially considering the price paid for the stay.Overall, we left feeling that the service did not match the hotel's reputation or cost. Unfortunately, the combination of unfriendly service, poor communication, and small rooms made this a disappointing experience, and we would not choose to stay here again.

    We’ve just come back from a week at Hotel Conca D’Oro, it was absolutely perfect! The staff couldn’t do enough to help, we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the bay. We dined at the hotel two nights and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Positano!     Incredible views and exceptional service

    We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Conca D'oro and it far exceeded our expectations.It's perfectly located just a short walk from the bustling main centre of Positano. This worked well for us as we found it to be quieter and therefore more relaxing.The steps leading up to the hotel were well worth the extra walk as the views are incredible and when stepping inside the hotel, it felt like a world of calm away from the busy streets below.Positano does have a lot of steps in general and not ideal for those with mobility problems but for us, having to take a few more steps to get up to the property was not a problem, in fact we were grateful for the extra exercise! The views from our room and the restaurant were beautiful and the breakfast was also lovely.All of the staff were friendly and helpful, from the bar and restaurant staff to the reception staff. In particular, the two ladies who were working on reception went above and beyond to help us with organising our transfer and excursion.
