    Amazing and special place in the quieter side of the beautiful Positano. The Deluxe room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a lovely seaview window and a private balcony. What a view to the horizon. The hotel garden overlooking to the sea was in full bloom. We enjoyed peaceful mornings with delicious breakfast outside. The staff was lovely. The location was convenient. It was a calm pedestrian only area, but a short 150 step access to restaurants and main road. The stairs from the beach (250 steps) were painful with luggage. I would recommend hiring a portier from the port. Great location to spend honeymoon at. <3

    Wow !! What a beautiful hotel this is right on the front in Postiano. Amazing sea views and views over the surrounding landscape - you literally have the sea and the pretty village scenes on the mountain side. Small quaint feel about this hotel. We had room 33 which is very spacious, lovely big bathroom and our own little patio area with those amazing sea views. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and perfectly adequate for us. Super friendly staff as well. I think staying anywhere in Postiano you have to expect the hill climbs and steps - don’t leave exploring this place until you are too frail to manage the landscape. I would highly recommend staying here 100%.

    Absolutely perfect stay in Positano! The room was very spacious and we felt spoiled with the private balcony. The view was stunning! A wonderful place to sit and appreciate the beauty of the area. The staff was friendly and attentive. Location of the hotel was within walking distance to the heart of the town and close to some great restaurants. Would absolutely come again!

    I stayed here for two nights during a trip to Positano while working at a wedding at Hotel Marincanto, and Hotel Dimora Fornillo was such a beautiful place to stay.I booked a sea view room and it was absolutely worth it — the view was incredible, and the balcony was a generous size. It was the perfect spot to relax, read my book, and enjoy the sunshine. The room itself was spotless and surprisingly spacious, almost like a mini apartment, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.It also offered fantastic value for Positano. I found it on the more affordable side, yet it really exceeded my expectations.Andrea was honestly amazing — the communication was exceptional from start to finish. I had quite a few questions before arriving and always received quick, helpful responses. The front desk team were also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.The garden area where breakfast is served is another highlight — such a peaceful and beautiful setting to start the day.I genuinely can’t fault this place.The only thing to note is that there are quite a lot of steps to reach the hotel, but that’s very typical for Positano. I just treated it as part my daily workout! I’d definitely recommend packing light if you can.

    Great spot in the quieter Positano valley. Terrific view, gorgeous private garden and generous staff. Andrea was incredibly helpful especially when our ferry and train were both cancelled, she organised us a car with no notice. Highly recommend. Be ready for the stairs, get the porters for your bags! We found the stairs long but fine - good way to walk off the limoncello. Lots of restaurants nearby but a few less tourists than the main valley.
