  Thank you to Rosa and staff for a wonderful stay in Positano. Our room was clean and comfortable and offered a beautiful view of the waterfront. The location is in close proximity to the beach, ferries, shopping and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

  Great location but not a great residence!

  This residence was a little hard to review. It is in a fabulous location, you are located right on the beach, but you are not waterfront. It is very easy to get to via ferry! Easy walk! We did like the free beach chairs right in front of the property. As it is €50 to sit in any of the other chairs with umbrellas! Rosa was lovely!We did have an ocean view room, which was nice. However, the room itself could be improved. It does appear that it has been recently painted. The furniture is very dated. The only thing you have in the room is a very old mini fridge and a hairdryer that did not work. You have absolutely nothing to be able to make coffee or tea in the morning. Our room was very small. It was difficult to find room for our luggage. I felt we paid quite a bit of money for what we got.

  Lovely old hotel in a great location but late night bar music spoilt it

  I booked to stay here for one night with my son, age 18. We were doing a 5 day tour of the Amalfi Coast. This hotel is in an iconic position on the main beach front area in Positano, less than 5 min walk from the marina which is a massive bonus as I think most people arrive by boat. So far so good, we wheeled our hand luggage bags to the front of the hotel which is painted bright yellow and looks like a house. We entered the side door and wondered around and couldn't find anyone so called the number and spoke to a guy who told us a lady would meet us. Rosa turned up and checked us in, in a laundry room. Seemed a bit of a strange set up but Rosa was very friendly and kind. The room had a kitchenette and sofa and the bedroom was at the back (no windows). It was very basic but the location makes up for it and the sea view from the terrace is stunning. It has cute little shutters, it is quaint but not luxurious at all and didn't have a kettle that I could see but there is a cafe next door either side. Now the downfall of this place is the beach bar directly in front of this hotel, looks quite chill and sophisticated during the day but when we got back from dinner the music started and didn't stop until 2.30 am. It was booming and sounded like it was in the room it was so loud. I am amazed they are allowed to play music like this as the area generally seems quite quiet and it is very built up, left and right and built up as high as you can see so the music would bother a lot of people. The people staying next to us said it was the same the night before. Due to this we did not sleep at all until the music stopped and it completely spoilt our stay. I definitely would not stay here if loud music would bother you at night... you have been warned.

  Clean, convenient, accommodating stay with great price

  I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on our honeymoon. We got in late so it was almost 10 pm but we had communicated this to the residence, and Mario was very accommodating, even giving us an upgrade from double room to king suite. Ms. Rosa waited on us despite it was past check in time and walked us to our room. The room was clean, we got fresh towels every day with bed lines cleaned and made daily. The property is right on the beach so very convenient for going on boat tours. For the price it was very nice. I would recommend this property to other people. Very genuine people, very nice property, we enjoyed our stay.

  I traveled alone and originally booked a partial sea view room. However, I was assigned a room facing a blank wall with no view whatsoever. When I told the male owner that this wasn't the room I booked, he claimed he didn't speak English and started yelling at me, refusing to change my room and insisting there were none available.I then called travel agent's customer service, and they immediately secured the exact room I had originally booked for me. This proved that the room was available, and I suspect I was treated this way simply because I am a woman traveling alone. Furthermore, when the owner came to facilitate the room change, he was extremely rude—he banged aggressively on my door and muttered angrily the entire time, as if I were the one at fault.A message to the property owner: Do not think your actions will have no consequences. I will persistently post this experience on any other platform I can find. I will make sure more travelers see this. If anyone asks about your hotel, I will not hesitate to share my negative experience to warn them against booking here.I have already filed a formal complaint with the online platform and urged them to delist your property. Everyone, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs to save yourself from this kind of treatment.
