This lovely and very comfortable hotel is situated atop steep cliffs above the sea and is located on one of the most enchanting corners of the Amalfi coast, at Praiano, an attractive resort facing the splendid Praia Bay. Capri is 30 minutes away by public transport, and Pompeii and Naples are 30 and 60 km away respectively.

The hotel has 19 rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Rooftop terrace closed was very disappointing

Standard hotel. No water in room mini fridge. We were very disappointed that the rooftop terrace was closed and all the lounging chairs were locked up. It would’ve been beautiful to sit up there and maybe they could take a few notes from a hotel in Amalfi that you could take your breakfast up there with a tray people from Canada just don’t get this kind of thing, so maximize your best attributes. Except for one waiter and young lady at the desk the two old guys were very unfriendly. Welcome your guests!! Be happy and welcoming! Do not book this hotel! We are a family with 2 kids. We had a reservation and on the train from Rome to Naples it was delayed due to fires. We informed the hotel that we would be arriving in Naples at 9pm with an approximate 2 hour transfer drive to the hotel from there. We were texted about 30 min later (in the transfer car) and informed that we could not check on after 10:30pm. We called to explain the situation and the fact that the timing was 1. Out of our control 2. We had 2 kids 3. We were in route.Out driver had never heard of anything so absurd and called a different hotel to get us booked (luckily there was room). Do not support this type of behavior on an establishment and stay across the road at the beauty hotel Onde Verde. , Proprietario at Hotel La Perla, responded to this review Dear CustomerWe are very sorry for the incovenient, our check in is before 22:30 we would like to point out that you only made a request for 2 rooms so yours was not a reservation, we have notified you as soon as we received your message that the check in is at 22:30.You have never booked with us and in case of delays we always wait for our clients, regarding your children we are not aware that there are children in the request unless we are informed.We are very sorry but I don't think your review is fair since you only made a request 3-4 hours before arriving without knowing which train you would be taking.Best regardsThe management

Fantastic location overlooking the Mediterranean. Service was impeccable in this family run business. Rafaello is a gem! He does it all with great skill. Great location in praiano overlooking ocean, good sized rooms, bit expensive but cheaper than positano. 15 mins drive or 20 mins bus ride to positano.Great service and close to non busy beaches.Highly recommend. fododo, at Hotel La Perla, responded to this review Thank you for your review, we will listen to your suggestions to improve our service VD

Good choice in wonderful town

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2023. We had a fantastic corner room with the most spectacular view of the coast and water. It was something out of a magazine. Priano was our favorite town on the Amalfi coast. It was quiet and not crowded as Positano and Amalfi were. There is a beautiful beach just down the hill from the hotel.
