    Charming in a perfect location

    We would definitely stay here again. Would like to have rated 4.5 Whilst it is an older building, this is no surprise in a town that dates back to the 4th century. We observed progressive improvement work during our stay. The location is perfect for town and transport (and not far to carry your luggage 😊). The water view from the front of the building is excellent. The family who manage are charming and very helpful. If you haven't yet booked, contact them directly so they don't lose a lot in margin.

    They cancelled our booking even that was from april and already paid by Agoda.com 5 days before our arrival. We try to speak with the owner but it was very rude and he lied us about our reservation , we already know right now that there were other cancelation for other families ( diferent check in dates )

    The hotel and the family owners are charming. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay in such a great centrally located hotel. We loved the traditional furnishings and atmosphere, plus a good continental breakfast. We would truly recommend this hotel…and may return!

    The hotel is to old and smells very musty.

    This hotel is so old and dusty and the rooms have a musty smell and are terrible. If you are located in the front rooms they are very noisy. Breakfast was very ordinary and we did not eat there because of cleanliness. The front desk is manned by a grumpy old man. I do not recommend this Hotel.

    Lots of stairs up to the Hotel but the Staff, Cleanliness, Location and old world charm make up for them. From the old guy on the desk to the cleaners and the breakfast lady I have never felt more welcome at a Hotel like I did and Hotel Lidomare. It was our last stop of a 5 week Italian Holiday. We stayed for 9 days and we couldn't fault one thing about the Hotel. In fact it was our favourite place of all 7 Hotels we stayed at in Italy. Would have no hesitation in recommending or booking next time we stay in Amalfi
