    Small town hotel with the best location

    Great location. 2 minutes walk to bus stop, grocery store and a small cafe with the best coffee and view of the ocean. . Very visible from the street. 15 minutes walk to the main town. Small but very charming inside. Family owned , very helpful and caring team. Help you plan your day trips with very practical information. Breakfast area has full view of the ocean and lemon trees. Their website pictures don’t do justice with how amazing the views are. Our room had a balcony and in the 2nd floor with uninterrupted view of the ocean. Rooms were pretty basic but comfortable. For the price it was a great place to stay. The best part was the small beach that could be accessed by very well kept stairs. Few minutes walk from the hotel. Amazing restaurants on the beach. Not crowded. You could rent a boat or have a fancy dinner. Overall, small town charm and peace with easy access to Positano, Amalfi by bus or taxi. Antonio, was very helpful from the point of reservation till we checked out. Genuinely courteous and caring owners.

    Our room and view were lovely, the breakfast terrace view was amazing, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was super clean and comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

    If you’re going to Praiano, this is the place to stay

    This hotel is positively exquisite! Family owned for generations, every corner has been beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. The views are stunning, the owners and staff are delightful, and the breakfasts are excellent. We stayed in a fancy hotel in Positono 7 years ago and wanted to be in a quieter location for our return visit. The stars aligned when I found this place. I cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel or the people they employ. If the scale is up to 5 stars, the Maresca is a solid 10! If you come here, please give Antonio, George, and Mia our love!

    An Amazing Stay in the Heart of the Amalfi Coast

    We stayed at Hotel Maresca for nine nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. This place is such a gem. Every morning we woke up to the most beautiful view and had cappuccinos with croissants and Nutella on the patio. It was the kind of peaceful start to the day that you won't experience anywhere else.Our favorite part by far was the family who runs it. Antonio is the best. Every single day we’d wave to him or stop to chat and he was always there to help. He gave us tips, mapped out routes, helped us plan around any curveballs. Just a genuinely kind person who made us feel so welcome.Praiano itself is also such a great place to stay. We’ve been to Positano and Amalfi and while those are pretty, they’re packed and way more touristy. Praiano felt calm and real. Not as remote as Agerola but still full of local spots, friendly people, and everything you’d need within walking distance. There are markets, souvenir shops, and great restaurants all nearby. The SITA bus stop is just steps from the hotel and connects you to the entire coast. Just a few euros per ride and you can grab tickets right next door at the little shop.Food in town was amazing. Our favorites were Trattoria San Gennaro up by the church and Il Pirata which is right on the water inside a cave. We had dinner and drinks there and then spent our last day renting beach chairs from them. It was 30 euro each for the day and totally worth it. We ordered food and drinks from our chairs and swam in the ocean right in front of us. Pure heaven.The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were so sweet. The hotel itself is cozy and full of charm. This whole trip felt like a dream and Maresca played a big part in that. Can’t recommend it enough. We’ll be back.

    I've made a partially paid 3-day reservation for me and my pregnant wife on Nov/24 and the reservation got cancelled on the day prior to my arrival (June 10th 2025). I had to make another reservation in the middle of the ninght in another hotel and asked for reinbursement. Booking said it was up to the Hotel. I've talked to Mr. Antonio Maresca (Hotel owner) and asked: "Are you going you take my money?". He said: "I already did". I have all recorded.
