  Pathetic staff and pathetic services

  We have traveled to many countries, we found this hotel and its staff to be worst. We checked in the apartment with sea view on 19th may at around 2 pm. The view from the room is not the same which they show on website. It’s actually much worse. The balcony door of our room was defective and not closing completely. They kept us waiting till 5.30 pm till it was fixed. The excuse given was the technician is not available at the moment. When I asked that when will he be available, Answer was we don’t know and that too very rudely. Worst hospitality experience. 2 female receptionists were very very rude, especially Christina, she is not at all fit for this job. Though we found 2 other female receptionists better and relatively more courteous. We stayed there for 3 nights. No room cleaning, no toiletries, no tissue paper, no fresh beddings, no towels were given. Next day, we were out for excursion, I called them in the evening to ask for towels and toiletries as we wanted to take a bath after coming back, but they bluntly refused that they can’t provide. When I came back, after requesting several times, I got 2 towels. Every single day, I had to struggle for getting the towels. I still had been very polite throughout my stay but I don’t why these receptionists were so rude and unhelpful. The whole experience ruined our holiday.

  Wonderful base in Maiori

  Clean and tidy apartments, close to the seafront, we had a seafront view and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out there of an early evening. Coffee machine was a good touch, beds comfy, plenty of towels and the staff were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Close to many wonderful restaurants & bars and the main square.A fantastic base to explore Maiori and the fabulous Amalfi coast.

  The hotel was absolutely to our satisfaction. Language can cause a problem, but nothing that translate can't fix. We had a wonderful experience, starting every day with the most beautiful cappuccino and Croissants at Franchesco's coffeeshop. The Hotel is very well situated and we rented scooters for our visit. Thank you

  If I could live here, I would! What a wonderful hotel, great staff, and perfect location. Away from the stress and business of Positano with all the beauty! Seriously, this has made us consider moving here! The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable and the location is PERFECTION. But the best part of this location? Views for days!! I CANNOT recommend this place enough!

  Beautiful view disappointed no rooftop pool

  Beautiful view of the coastline from our room, the breakfast terrace overlooking the sea was also amazing. BUT... we were very disappointed that when I booked the hotel it advertised a rooftop pool over looking the sea. This was closed for refurbishing & the receptionist said it had been closed for a year but they had hoped it would be open for June. We were told we could use a pool up the road but it wasn't nice as it was in the middle of loads of apartments and in the shadows, and there was no where to buy food or drinks there. So we paid £15 every week day and £35 Saturday and Sunday to go on the beach.We asked to see the manager a number of times to request some money back on the beach bookings but in the 7 nights we were there the manager was never available.Also we have stayed at quite a few 4 star hotels and apart from the beautiful view and the friendly staff, I don't believe it should be 4 star more like 3 as the decor was very old and the selection of breakfast was not like we have had elsewhere.Apart from that Maori is a beautiful place we just feel we were a little ripped off!
