Location

The hotel is located in a fabulous residential area in the historic centre of Positano, less than 15 minute’s walk from the beaches. It offers expansive views of the deep blue water of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the famed Li Galli islands and the picturesque town. In the nearby area there are restaurants, grocery shops and a number of boutiques. It is the ideal location from which most areas of the town can be reached within a few minutes' walk. The hotel is 65 km from Naples airport and 60 km from Pontecagnano Airport.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1880. The hotel has 4 junior suites, 3 suites and 3 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing.     Hotel Villa Gabrisa earned 5 stars from my wife and I. Beautiful views from our balcony, which was almost as big as our room. See photos of our balcony and some of the Villa Gabrisa's restaurant tables below our balcony, across the street from the hotel. The hotel also has a dining room on the ground floor of the hotel. Spotlessly clean. The villa has a good location away from the busy beach area yet not too far up the mountain. There is a convenient bus stop next door. Excellent food (try the meatloaf.) Pleasant and helpful staff. Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” playing in the elevator perfectly characterizes this place. Stayed a week. Was tempted to stay much longer.

    We had a great time in Positano! The Hotel Villa Gabrisa was a wonderful, small hotel in the perfect location. Part way up the hill, away from the crowds. It was very quiet. We had a wonderful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We had a great breakfast every morning. Special thanks to Francisco. By the second morning, he knew our likes and dislikes. He brought items without our even asking! Unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner while we were there. We will just need to come back! Everyone at the hotel was so nice and helpful. We rented a car for a day and they helped us with that. We had lots of questions - they were always able to help and were very gracious. We especially want to mention Giada, Barbara and Vita who were the absolute best!

    My husband and I loved our stay at Hotel Villa Gabriel. It was a beautiful place to stay in a great location in Positano. All of the rooms have a view of the sea, the room was spacious, clean and elegant. Staff were so wonderful, welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would recommend to anyone and hope to be back someday soon!

    My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Gabrisa and couldn’t recommend it more for anyone visiting Positano. The hotel’s prime location offers breathtaking views, with dining and drinks just steps away, and the atmosphere truly feels luxurious. From Gaida and Vita at the front desk to the housekeeping and dining staff, every detail of our experience was top-notch!

    Hotel Villa Gabrisi offered excellent service, great food and the views and spectacular. This is truly a luxury boutique hotel. Giada offered exceptional concierge service and always greeting us with a smile. She offered great restaurants and was just a pleasure to deal with every day. She is a true asset to the hotel. Francesco and the entire restaurant staff was delightful. Incredible service and the restaurant is truly one of the best in Positano.We had the honeymoon suite which was beautiful and spacious.
