Good, but could be excellent with some minor improvements

Pros:- excellent views- room furniture & decor & and mosquito nets- friendly and helpful staff- restaurant food is very good, the dessert (Amara or something like that is amazing) - breakfast is decent- pool areaCons: - the bread rolls at breakfast are not fresh (they seem to keep the ones from the previous day) - some of the pastries and desserts at breakfast are also not fresh- some of the fixtures in the bathroom (towel hooks are loose) and the water builds up in the shower floor- noise from the road and busses keep beeping everytime they go past- it's tricky to walk into town as you'll be walking on a road with no pavement ... but they do provide a free car into Maiori own every hour- food in the restaurant is a bit expensive (the fish fillet is 25 euros, no sides are included). I think they need to include some potatoes for example to justify the cost- no kettle in the roomPaid about £250 per night in August for a room with a sea view.Parking is 20 euros per day.Would I stay here again? Yes, if they improve some of the above.

Our room was amazing, spotless, big, warm and a magnificent view. Had the most amazing time watching the traffic below and the boats coming and going on the water. All the stairs were a bit of a challenge. The breakfast buffet was below average, but dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. The staff were mostly great, friendly and warm, with the exception of one man in reception who was very rude and aggressive. The shuttle service when mastered it was a great asset to the hotel. A lovely place to stay.

I had 4 nights here alone before joining a tour group in Maiori town. Loved this hotel, very clean room, balcony overlooking the road and across the narrow road a drop to the sea. Great views. Yes, it can get noisy with traffic, especially the motorcycles, but I got used to that. Double glazing on the windows if it got too much. Staff were friendly and helpful to an older woman travelling alone. Breakfast included, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and a selection of meats, eggs, and pastries. Built into the side of a cliff, there is no elevator, and outdoor steps to get to top levels. Staff carried my bags for me. They have a car which operates a shuttle service to the nearby town on demand. The pool looked great, but on the day I had decided I would try it, the weather cooled considerably so didn’t do so. I’d love to stay again.

Charming 12 room hotel a 5 minute drive from Main Street Māori. Beautiful views, quaint decor, refreshing pool and great shuttle service back and forth from village to hotel. Very relaxing quiet stay ideal for couples. Overlooks Amalfi coast road but traffic never kept us awake
