  The right name for this HOTEL .

  Family-run hotel practically on the sea , a little 'far from the historic center if you want to go on foot but in front of the hotel there is a bus stop or there are bicycles available. I stayed for two weeks in the room Comfort Processing all inclusive which also includes Covered parking 5 minutes walk and 2 sun loungers with umbrella at the beach in front of the hotel. The room is quite spacious and clean with beautiful terrace facing the sea, bathroom a bit narrow. built-in wardrobe but quite comfortable and full of little men. My personal thanks go to the waiter Massimiliano who was very nice and very precise. The food very good especially the excellent fish dishes. Vegetable buffet a bit repetitive, breakfast very good sweet, almost nothing salty. The beach is quiet and clean and the umbrellas are well spaced.   Not, what we expected

  Very nice owner.But .... The hotel is nothing like the pictures.3 stars no. 2 stars perhaps. Er rented a room with a balcony with seaview.16 m2 and many nice things. The balcony to the sea was less than 1m2 and seaview wad was not easy.A lot of things mentioned in the booking, was not there. Bad smell on the bathroom.16 m2 mus be including balcony and all. Outside was not a nice look. The hotel could for sure use some paint. MARCO M, Responsabile reception at hotel Villa Sorriso, responded to this review The photos of the structure are real and in the rooms there are all the comforts as described (independent air conditioning, fridge, tv32 ", hairdryer, safe).Book a basic room at a low price given the period you can't expect to have the same comfort as a deluxe room with a balcony facing the sea and furnished for the same price.Before confirming a booking through the platforms (Booking, Expedia etc.) you should look at the price you want to have.And anyway when we go abroad it costs us an exaggeration and when a foreigner comes to Italy with little money he wants everything.

  Decent holiday hotel

  Stayed a couple of days in the hotel during the Christmas period with my family, we booked 3 rooms. Rooms were all big en clean, but slightly outdated. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of choices. Good price/quality and could recommend the hotel when visiting Venice.

  Beware - hotel asked for more money

  I booked a triple room (2 adults + 1 child) at Villa Sorriso in October 2014 for a week's holiday in August 2015. I received a voucher from the hotel confirming my booking and the price. One month before my holiday (9 months after my original booking), the hotel emailed me and asked me to pay them more money if I wanted to keep my booking (an extra 960 euros!) claiming that they had made a mistake with the original price that we had agreed. I was not prepared to give them the extra money as we had already agreed the price and I had received the hotel booking confirmation. I subsequently cancelled our room at this hotel and found alternative accommodation. Beware when booking this hotel as my experience is that they ask for extra money you were not expecting to pay. Monia M, Direttore at hotel Villa Sorriso, responded to this review Gentile cliente, lei ha fatto una prenotazione tramite Expedia che come successo altre volte avevano inserito dei prezzi errati, l'Hotel Villa Sorriso non le ha inviato nessun voucher di prenotazione anche perchè prima della conferma la struttura doveva prendere una cauzione che non ha mai preso visto la tariffa molto inferiore al listino del periodo ( 2 adulti + 1 ragazzo di 8 anni € 46,25 al giorno compresa colazione mese di Agosto) questi prezzi non li abbiamo neanche tra Gennaio e Marzo.Dopo ripetute E-mail e telefonate intercorse con i collaboratori di Expedia e non avendo cenno di una collaborazione a sistemare bonariamente la questione, le abbiamo inviato una E-mail per trovare un accordo ero disposta anche a fare uno sconto ma ho ricevuto la sua disdetta tramite Expedia. I nostri clienti che hanno prenotato con importi ragionevoli e di mercato non hanno trovato nessuna sorpresa e si sono trovati bene.Distinti Saluti

  Do not book this untrustworthy hotel

  I booked Hotel Villa Sorriso through hotels.com in July 2014 and secured a 'book early/low price' deal. Upon booking, I paid the amount requested in full to the hotel. The hotel took my money and emailed me a confirmation voucher. Four weeks before the start of our trip (July 2015 - a year after my original booking/confirmation), the hotel informed me that they had made a mistake with the price and that I would have to pay them an additional 840 euros if I wanted to keep my booking. The agents working for hotels.com made numerous telephone calls and sent emails to Hotel Villa Sorriso informing them that they were obliged to honour this confirmed booking. Hotel Villa Sorriso refused their requests stating again that I would have to pay them an additional 840 euros. Fortunately hotels.com honoured their terms and conditions (unlike the hotel) and cancelled our booking and provided us with alternative accommodation. If this was a genuine mistake, I do not understand why it took Hotel Villa Sorriso 11 months to contact me, why they held my money for almost a year and why they sent me a confirmation voucher. I found the actions and behaviour at Hotel Villa Sorriso totally unacceptable and wholly unprofessional. La nostra struttura per innumerevoli volte a scritto e telefonato tramite Expedia per risolvere la questione senza nessun risultato, la camera è stata bloccata fino al rifiuto da parte del cliente perchè si pensave che hotel.com avrebbe integrato l'importo mancante visto l'errore causato.L'Hotel Villa Sorriso è una struttura rispettabile e professionale, comunque perlano le recensioni stesse dei clienti.
