Don’t let them fool you to think this is a 4 star hotel.

    rating18 Dec 2025

This is not a luxury hotel. We arrived during mid day and after a long train ride wanted to eat something but no, the hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner. So we sat in the lobby planning what to do since it was too early to check in and no food. We reserved spa treatments, dinners and left the bags and got a ride to the entrance of Assisi to go eat and wander around. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but the patio door was broken and would not lock, air conditioner did not work either. Dinner opened at 7pm, but it was only available for groups, regular customers were allowed in at 730pm. Luckily they were able to accommodate us and seated us far away from all others. Atmosphere is cold and boring. Food was nothing spectacular or high end. Wine did not taste good, no other drink options other than beer and wine. Breakfast was a normal buffet, rotten fruits in a basket and very basic yogurts, cold cuts and pastries. Nothing luxurious. The spa charges were affordable but the spa personnel never showed up. At first I was told they would be there in 5 minutes, then I was told 30 minutes because they were stuck in traffic. Complete lies. Room key didn’t even work on the pool room so one could have sat and waited. The bar uses paper note pads to then charge to your room. Drinks were affordable and the bartender Sean was only other good thing about this hotel. The hotel is far away from Assisi, the hotel shuttle goes 4 times in 24 hours, and the other city bus schedule was no different. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I return.

    Are you kidding?

I gave this two stars because it was clean. Beautiful garden. Honestly, this hotel almost ruined our trip. You will need your own shampoo and tissues. Also lotion. Small rooms with warm refrigerators. NO FANS. Our SMALL room was stifling warm, so we opened the window. Outside the room as was a pole lamp that illuminated the room. Impossible to sleep through the night. If you are on a tour that contracts to eat there, be ready for the worst canned food. Ever. Here we were in the Mecca of culinary delights, being served some of the worst meals I've ever been offered. I stuck with the croissants. They were good. That was the only thing. After three awful mights in this place, I was glad to leave the area.

    Pilgrimage to Assisi

    rating29 Oct 2025

I went as part of a group on a pilgrimage .The room was nice and clean.Nice breakfast. Evening meal was a set package, 3 courses but simple food without many vegetables. Gorgeous lasagne on our 1st night.Staff were friendly. I would stay here again but I would have the a la cart ood which was reasonably priced.

    Nice hotel

    rating02 Oct 2025

The hotel lobby is beautiful and cozy, great atmosphere. The bar tender was a lil slow, but he was a great character. My wife asked for a desert drink, and he made her a toasted almond drink which was spectacular. The food for dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was solid. The rooms were a Lil small, and water pressure was low.

    Beautiful view

    rating20 Jul 2025

This hotel was beautiful! Not close to much to do but the grounds were stunning. Bar staff was fantastic we chatted and had several drinks while waiting to head to dinner. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel was clean. Breakfast had a great variety, staff in the Breakfast dining room were not very friendly to our tour group of 44 but other than that I did not have any complaints while visiting for the evening. After dinner definitely step out back and enjoy the view and outdoor seating.
