    Great location for a weekend in Bergamo

    For a 3 star hotel this is absolutely fine. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given our very heavy key to our room.The room is fine, the bathroom is clean and has a bidet and lots of lovely products (individual ones that you can take away). The bed was comfortable and different pillow options.Only thing to say, there is no UK TV not that we really watched TV and the aircon didn't really work. The view from the window was a bit meh but we weren't in our room for very long, and also we were out all day from 8am to about 3pm on saturday but our room didn't get cleaned. It wasn't really a big thing though.The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from the airport bus stop, and about 10 minutes to the funicular, lots of shops nearby.We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that.A final add- take ear plugs, the outside noise (especially church bells) is very noisy but that's not on the hotel

    The hotel was a bit dated, but nice enough. The bed was comfortable. We had a fridge and a safe in the room. The airconditioning worked as it should. The keys were ancient and super-heavy, we had some laughs about that. The breakfast wasn't that great, not a lot of choice and some of the items were a bit dry, but the cappuccino was good. We found the staff in reception to be very forthcoming and nice, always with a smile. We didn't try the spa unfortunately, we didn't book in advance and there were no slots available.

    I normally stay at the BW around the corner when I’m in Bergamo. This time, they were full so I ended up at the Arli. First impression is that it is a bit old school, a typical three star hotel. I had some issues with the room that I got but Sylvia sorted it out (thanks, darling). Overall, service at this hotel is really good. Friendly and attentive. My final room was very comfortable. Good AC (albeit a bit noisy), great duvet. Good value. Two things that could be better: Paper cups instead of glasses (and only one cup!), water drains poorly in the sink. I’ll be back in Bergamo again soon and this hotel is certainly on the (very short) list of hotels I’ll consider staying in.

    Very expensive for what you get! . Even dick turpin wore a mask as they say! Very little for your money. Two single beds pushed together with a key that doubled up as an anchor that you can carry round Bergamo! Don't even get a kettle and coffee etc for a morning brew! Room ok, good location close to town centre but that's all the positives I can list. Access to spa not even included. I don't mean massages and treatments....you can't even use Jacuzzi and sauna for the price. No breakfast included and can't even use an iron!!! Need to pay 12 euro to get someone to iron your shirt! Find somewhere else if you can! Didn't want to rate it 1 star in all honesty 😞

    Great hotel in a perfect location. Very close to lots of shops and restaurants. Just a 15 minute walk to the funicular. Very clean hotel with a lovely spacious room. The only thing that let it down was there was no fridge or kettle in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel but I would advise you bring mosquito repellent as we were badly bitten while asleep. Not the hotels fault. So all in all we had a really lovely stay.28 Jul 2024
