    Great Hotel with Superb Service – Remote but Well Connected

    We had a really enjoyable stay at the Winter Garden Hotel over the new year (2025/26). The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. The breakfast has a very wide choice and if you want a speciality coffee, they are available on request. The food in the café/bar was very good, and both food and drink were reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise for a hotel of this standard.The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and very comfortable. It is worth noting that the location feels a little isolated if you don’t have a car, although taxis and Uber are easy to get—just be prepared for fares that are on the expensive side.The hotel does run a shuttle bus to the airport and the local shopping centre; this is very reasonably prices but must be pre-booked.In the room, there was a great selection of tea infusions, though most days I did need to ask for extra English Breakfast tea, milk, and decaf coffee. Not a problem, but something to be aware of.Getting to Milan was straightforward just 48 minutes from Bergamo station on a clean, comfortable train. Train tickets were very reasonably priced, making it a great option for a day trip.Overall, a modern and comfortable hotel with great service and good food—just slightly out of the way unless you have a car or you’re happy relying on taxis or public transport.

    Really rooms was clean and tidy, staff was right and rooms quite nice. Restaurant for breakfast was so nice and everything was right.Probably will back to there

    We needed accommodation near Bergamo airport. This hotel is spotlessly clean. Has respectful helpfull and engaging staff. The shuttle was easy to arrange. A quick 5 minutes to the airport. We actually used it to get to the airport and from there bussed to Bergamo Upper city and back. So worth while. Breakfast was in a beautiful room with great food.     Amazing hotel, great value for money, and really dedicated staff!!

    Absolutely amazing stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Room was great...hotel was spotless and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Want to call out particularly Christina and Martina who were amazing at reception and helped in co-ordinating the shuttle to and from the airport, any taxis into Bergamo and also helping with a late checkout. Breakfast was great, with a large selection and staff were attentive and super helpful. The restaurant was also excellent. All in all a really great location and base for visiting Bergamo and Milan (40 min fast train from Bergamo.) Would definitely stay again. Please pass on my thanks to the staff!!
