The guy at the bar and 2 girl at reception were very helpful, the old guy at reception not very friendly, would suit more in a bank than hospitality. Rooms are spacious but not like the photos. €100 deposit, still waiting for refund. Hotel is clean , more like 3 * than 4* . Breakfast is average, spa was lovely, tv unless you can speak italian, bad . Housekeeping ladies were lovely and very helpful. Hotel is isolated cant walk at night or day, need car or shuttle bus, which cost €5 each time. Book in advance, not reliable at times. Showers are great, foods nice, alittle expensive, portions are small. Spent 1 night at the hotel to grab an early flight the next day. Lovely modern hotel - we booked a Comfort Room and it was really spacious fabulous shower and air conditioning. Food in Onyx bar was lovely and staff were great. Overall a lovely stay and great value for money. Great choice near Bergamo airport

Great Hotel with Superb Service – Remote but Well Connected

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Winter Garden Hotel over the new year (2025/26). The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. The breakfast has a very wide choice and if you want a speciality coffee, they are available on request. The food in the café/bar was very good, and both food and drink were reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise for a hotel of this standard.The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and very comfortable. It is worth noting that the location feels a little isolated if you don’t have a car, although taxis and Uber are easy to get—just be prepared for fares that are on the expensive side.The hotel does run a shuttle bus to the airport and the local shopping centre; this is very reasonably prices but must be pre-booked.In the room, there was a great selection of tea infusions, though most days I did need to ask for extra English Breakfast tea, milk, and decaf coffee. Not a problem, but something to be aware of.Getting to Milan was straightforward just 48 minutes from Bergamo station on a clean, comfortable train. Train tickets were very reasonably priced, making it a great option for a day trip.Overall, a modern and comfortable hotel with great service and good food—just slightly out of the way unless you have a car or you’re happy relying on taxis or public transport.
