Visited for three nights in September 2026. The hotel stands out as the only clean building in a neighbourhood covered with graffiti.The staff were very welcoming and especially attentive at breakfast. Breakfast had an incredible selection of cakes and pastries (profiteroles!) and other options that were available to order from the menu.The rooms were clean and comfortable. The nature of the building limited the outlook, but Bologna is anyway not famous for its grand vistas. Some nocturnal noise from street arguments showed that the area has some character, but I felt secure behind the iron bars in front of my windows.Bologna was full at the time we went so the price was higher than it was really worth but overall we were happy with our experience there.

Very good service, one of the best breakfasts in our tour in Italy, Alina the waitress was so professional and helpful, all reception staff was very friendly and helpful, room was nice but not too big( junior suite quite small and crowded bathroom, maybe this is the Italian standard) location is quite in a not so nice area but quite close to city center, overall nice small boutique hotel and atmosphere , mediocre value for the money, otherwise I recommend it.

Albergo Rossini is a 25 room gem. It is located in the heart of the city. It sits in a very lively student neighborhood with tons of positive vibes. The cathedral, art museum, poggi museum and archeological museum are close by. The rooms are on the small side. The mini fridge was centered right by the side of the bed. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast is AWESOME. Definitely order from the à la carte menu. NO additional costs. The train station is not walkable (23 mins away with luggage or without luggage.

Staying at Albergo Rossini felt like being welcomed and looked after by people who genuinely cared. Traveling alone, it meant a lot that they let me choose the room where I felt most comfortable. Throughout my stay, they made sure I had everything I needed—from my morning coffee to arranging taxis and even giving me a chance to cool off and freshen up before leaving for the airport. The hotel is right in the heart of Bologna, but what I will remember most is the warmth and personal attention.

The perfect hotel. Ideal location - steps to the sights but quiet, and superbly appointed rooms, some with jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast and warm, personal and efficient service: I’ll be back!
