    We stayed in this location due to our Erasmus course for education professionals (Erasmus Learning Academy) and we had full board. We studied for a week and found out this was a kind of University campus, not a "real hotel". We enjoyed the campus meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner + unlimited coffee). The rooms were ok, shower was nice but the toilet was flushing a bit weak and once the water problem affected also the coffee machine of the lunch hall. There was a tv with multiple channels in each room and also plenty of shelfs, propably dseigned for the students who stay longer time and need space for their study materials/books. However, everything was super clean, the study we attended was organised in the same building, staff was friendly and helpful, internet was working well etc. There was also a gym available at the campus. The location is a bit far from the city and the connections by bus are weak - so we had to walk quite a lot or take a taxi (which was not always easy either). The food was good to be a Uni cafe and there were multiple choises daily you could choose from a buffet. They had a QR code to check the menu but we found out it was not updated or working very well for us. Closest supermarkets (Lidl) 10-15min walk and walk to the city center around 35-40min. Taxi to the Bologna railway station around 20-27e, just 15-20mins.

    Decent budget accommodation option in Bologna

    This is a budget accommodation option in Bologna. It is a university campus accommodation. The room is very simple but brand new, tidy and clean. Very nice bathroom. Breakfast was very tasteful and plentiful. A/C working fine.

    This is basically a student hall of residence letting some spare rooms to travellers. However it is very good. I wish I had had a room as spacious and well-equipped as this when I was a student! It was very comfortable and quiet.We had breakfast, which I can recommend: good, generous breakfast, with cooked food. Mostly students at breakfast, but a few couples and family groups. We also had an evening meal. This was filling, but a bit disappointin- I would not particularly recommend the evening meal, but unless you have a car other options are limited.It is about 8 minutes walk from Bologna S. Vitale railway station, so it is easy to get to the city centre from there. My only reservation would be that the walk from the station to Campus (at least the way we went - perhaps there is a better alternative) takes you through a rather desolate urban landscape - alright in the daytime, but if I were, say, a woman travelling alone I would have reservations about going this way at night. This was compounded by the fact that we struggled to get phone reception (and hence navigation) to Camplus - if staying again I would do some research to see if there was a better route. In every other respect I would thoroughly recommend this Campus.

    Welcoming and friendly staff at the reception, rooms are small, a little bit dusty, with small tv (Italian only), bed was comfy and towels were clean. Good shower pressure. It’s 20-ish mins walk from the old city, area felt quiet and safe.Breakfast was very limited and disappointing. You need to add extra €3pp city tax (May 2023).

    Great stay in a young stylish business concept.There are all the benefits necessary: spacious rooms, modern congress spaces, breakfast & dinner with various healthy solutions, lots of vending machines, good gym 24 hours opened, parking free and a very nice professional working Team. Management over the top always at Clients disposal!
