    I booked this hotel as it was highly recommended by the online travel company (my first mistake!) it was for a special occasion and I’m so disappointed as I wanted it to be special. 1. It is extremely far out from the city centre / tourist attractions - so it costs a fortune in taxis / Ubers. You could use the bus but you’ll be delayed because they are building a monorail so the whole city is disrupted. When we arrived I was shocked as in the photos I had seen it did not show the shop and casino on the side of the building. There’s also a 24hr McDonald’s right outside and petrol pumps. There’s reception small and it has the bar / restaurant (wouldn’t call it a restaurant) area also in an open plan style. Decor is extremely dated. Staff we dealt with were all lovely I cannot fault them. Got to our “4 star” room and it was a box and basic. Think no frills travel lodge etc. there wasn’t even a welcome page or booklet with instructions for tv / air conditioning or the usual information included. Not even a bottle of water, tea or coffee. Decor dated snd could do with an upgrade. Walls paper thin we could hear the room next to us move their chair etc. same as in the hallways can hear everything.The bed was the most UNCOMFORTABLE bed I’ve slept in it was hard like concrete! Aldi there’s loads of switches in the room but we don’t know what they were for it would of been useful to have that information in the room for guest, Finally this is not a 4 star and how it has that rating is beyond me! Do not book if you want a 4 star it is basic no frills hotel. Might suit people travelling for business but that’s it. I’m so disappointed with our stay and this hotel shouldn’t be listed as a 4 star.

    Awesome staff absolutely flexible during booking changed, perfect bed and breakfast with good coffee. Close to highway perfect for 1 night. Room was clean big bathroom and working air conditioner. Super choice for family our business..

    Nice low priced hotel with yummy breakfast

    CDH is a small quiet hotel with a helpful concierge. There's a safety deposit box in the room and we really like this feature. Water pressure in the bathroom is strong. Breakfast is yummy and fulfilling. We visited in April so the AC was off. We had to open the window, allowing cool air and a few mosquitoes in. Our room was clean but the window drape was dusty and I sneezed whenever I opened or closed the window. The hotel is next to a McDonald's but far from tourist attractions and the Old Town. I'd stay here again if we come back to Bologna.

    Ok if you’re desperate.

    Clean enough, but don’t expect much. We were due to stay for two nights, but checked out after one as the beds were terrible. Breakfast not brilliant - cheap pastries and some meats - bar looked permanently closed. It’d do you for one night if you are desperate, but otherwise I’d look elsewhere.

    Property located 20 minutes by car from the centre of Bologna. The hotel is a good compromise for a stopover not much more. For the price of the rooms I expected a bit more, instead it is really a transit/quick stop hotel. The rooms very (too?) simple, hotel internally and externally not too well maintained, breakfast really very disappointing. I honestly can't find any 4-star character.
