  From the warm welcome at check-in to the team serving breakfast, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Everyone was proactive and clearly focused on meeting our needs, often anticipating them before we even had to ask. I truly have no complaints—our stay at this hotel felt like pure luxury.   I have stayed at many 5* hotels in Europe, NYC, Sydney and Cape Town. My stay at the Grand Hotel Majestic Gia Baglioni will remain as a memorable experience that will want me to return to this hotel soon again. The Grand Hotel Majestic truly lives up to its name in every sense of the word !A grand experience with timeless elegance and impeccable service. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was of a very high standard.   Absolutely Lovely!

  My husband and I had a lovely stay at Grand Hotel Majestic Gia Baglioni for three nights in October of 2025. From the moment we arrived the friendly and helpful valet staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. After a short walk we made our way to the beautiful lobby and were greeted by Roberto who was incredibly kind and eager to tell us all about the property and beautiful city of Bologna. We were even given an upgraded room. What a way to start our adventure in Bologna! The room was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. I unpacked my clothes into the wardrobe, and later realized that the housekeeper had added extra hangers - very thoughtful! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the room was quiet despite the construction happening outside. The absolute highlight of our trip were our afternoon aperitivo and late night cocktails at Cafe Marinetti with the incomparable Domenico. Domenico provided excellent service, stories and great cocktails. Not sure how many Majestic Negronis we had - but it was quite a few! I also daydream about the Gabe Fior Di Sale prosecco that was my go to nightcap while I writing in my journal each night. Some other things we loved about this hotel experience were the beautiful physical room keys, and the perk of leaving them at the front desk when departing for the day. No more searching through my purse to locate a key card! We also took advantage of the concierge services to book dinner and a balsamic tour. We did do the brunch one morning, the cappuccino was tasty and I loved the buffet options. We loved walking the halls and seeing photos of the many celebrities and notable figures who have also stayed there. Finally, the central location of this hotel made it ideal for exploring the wonderful city of Bologna. We walked pretty much everywhere! I eagerly await my next visit to Bologna so I can stay at the historic Grand Hotel Majestic - Gia Baglioni again. Thank you for having us!   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This historic luxury hotel is absolutely stunning. Perfectly located in the heart of Bologna’s old town, it blends timeless elegance with modern sophistication in the most beautiful way. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt romantic, refined, and wonderfully serene.The historic architecture is impeccably preserved, while the interiors feel fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was luxurious, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—an intimate retreat despite being so centrally located.The staff were exceptional: warm, professional, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Andrea at the restaurant had the best recommendations on food & wine. Domenico at the bar was fun & made great drinks.
