Nice room and most friendly staff!

    rating26 Sept 2026

Clean room and wonderful staff. The breakfast was also very good. We had read previous mixed reviews and were most amazed at how lovely our stay here ended up. We stayed in the main area and it was a great location for eating and shopping. I have to say it was the attentive staff from check in to assistance with bags and friendless of dining area that made this place a gem!

    Exceptional!!

    rating08 Sept 2026

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful four night stay at the fabulous Hotel Corona d'Oro 1890 in Bolgna. The hotel is beautiful and offers everything you need, located right at the heart of the city with everything within walking distance, but the very best part was the staff. They are truly wonderful and kind. They could not do enough for us, always remembered our name, proper old school service. They arranged restaurant bookings for us offered advice and help to ensure our time was memorable! We will definitely go back. Make sure you check their website for the room size/size type you want beforehand!

    Great location!

    rating05 Sept 2026

Was delighted to find this perfectly located hotel in the old city. I can’t say enough about the staff who took care of every little thing. Genuine and kind. Room was lovely and well appointed. Many restaurants a short walk away, and close to the breathtaking historic Centro. Will note that there was major refurbishment going on at the time, though my weekend stay was not affected much. Mille grazie! Hope to return next time.
