    Friendly, helpful hosts. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Quiet location. Lovely swimming pool and terrace. Good home-cooked food made from local produce. Spacious rooms.

    I spent four days at this hotel and I have to say that I had to most relaxing time ever. The hotel is old-style but very clean and tidy. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and want to help however they can. The swimming pool is a real addition and one can easily spend their time reading and watching the world go by. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both a relaxing few days or using it as a base to explore the region.

    Got in late, efficient property, easy check-in. We were tired and hungry and the restaurant was a few minutes from closing (9:52pm) but they were willing to get us a few orders of pasta. And it was very good.Breakfast was great. Location is not walking distance to anything but that was not a surprise and we factored that in.

    A step back in time

    We had a spacious, recently decorated room with a wide balcony, for our stay of one night. As others have said, the rooms are from another era, but our dinner was delicious and plentiful, prepared in house with local ingredients. We enjoyed local wine too. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was just what you would expect in the area.

    Last week I stayed for four days at this hotel, and came away very reluctantly. True the hotel is furnished from the '60s style, it's a bit like going back to another time frame, but it's part of it's charm at the end. It is run by two brothers and their wives, and they couldn't do enough for any of us. Although I was on my own, everyone was so friendly that it really didn't matter. Every room has a balcony. The wi-fi worked just fine, I never turned on the TV (whatever for???). The meals were excellent, with a very good selection of courses including first, second, selection of salads and/or cooked vegetables, cheeses, fresh fruits, homemade sweets. The swimming pool is lovely, high up on a terrace overlooking the park. And just crossing the street brings you to the spas. Prices very modest. Can't wait to return!
