    Clean rooms, friendly staff – but extremely loud and massively overpriced

    I stayed 3 nights in Bologna and left with mixed feelings.On the positive side, the room was big and very clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Breakfast was ok – mostly sweet items, but I really liked the croissants.However, the negatives were hard to ignore:The bathroom was incredibly small, with a tiny shower unlike anything I’ve ever seen.The WiFi in the room was terrible, almost unusable.No tea/coffee set, no complimentary water (which costs only cents), which felt a bit stingy for the price.Worst of all: the place was extremely loud every single night. I barely slept. Aircon was not working so had to sleep with open window.At 600 euros for 3 nights, it was completely overpriced for what you actually get.There is a lot of potential, but in its current state, I would not stay here again — mainly due to the noise and the value for money.

    We stayed here for two nights whilst travelling around Italy. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the train station and is ideally placed for sightseeing. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely gentleman who recommended a trattoria just down from the hotel which was lovely and our second night another gentleman recommended another one to us which was on the via piella where you open a small metal window to see a canal like a mini Venice. Again a great recommendation.The hotel is traditionally furnished and was very clean. We were on a room only basis so the offer of a coffee and croissant for breakfast was very welcome. Thank you for a nice stay.

    Very Friendly, helpfull staff. Always smiling. Great central location and an unexpected bonus of coffee and croissants provided in the morning. Tidy rooms and comfortable beds. Would definately recommend staying here if you are travlleing to Bologna. Only about a 20min walk from the Central staion and a few minutes from the main Piazza and other attractions

    An alright hotel in an excellent location for wandering around the city. The staff were always available and very helpful, the room was minimally furnished but with plenty of space and effective air conditioning. The free breakfast is simple but sufficient (coffee and croissant).

    Pros: good location, friendly staff, cleanCons: tiny room, super tiny shower that I hardly fit in, breakfast is absolutely minimal, high price (seems to be normal in Bologna), extremely noisy at nightFor whatever reason Bologna seems to be an extremely expensive city when it comes to hotels. For almost 150€ per night in a single room I would have hoped for a little more than this super-minimalistic room. I was also missing some shelf for my stuff. The only thing available was a cabinet with some hangers, but no drawer shelf or so for your smaller items.
