    Good hotel and modern. Rooms were nice and spacious with everything you require. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose.     Our stay at Hotel I Portici was a really enjoyable experience overall. From the moment we arrived, everything was very easy—staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay.The room itself was great—we absolutely loved it. Comfortable, well-presented, and a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.The hotel’s location is a major highlight. It’s within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city.One thing to be aware of: there are street raves on Monday nights, and the noise can be quite loud. It kept us up a bit, but honestly, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a great stay.If you can secure on-site parking, it’s definitely worth it—very convenient and helpful, especially if you’re traveling by car.We also really enjoyed the meals at the hotel’s restaurants—great quality and a nice bonus to have on-site dining options.A small tip for future guests: the “complimentary” water in the room isn’t actually complimentary—you’ll be charged for it (we learned that the fun way!).Overall, we’d happily recommend Hotel I Portici and would definitely consider staying again.

    Disappointing so far

    Check in was fine- one member of staff told us room would be ready at 2pm but when we came back at 2.20pm we were told it was only guaranteed to be ready at 3pm. Asked her to check and it was ready after all. Had a snack in the Eden snack bar, service was mediocre - young uninterested man served us. Didn’t return following a request for an additional item. Room is underwhelming for the price we have paid - chipped paint, wooden floor is badly scuffed, mould around the bathroom sink. Electric sockets are plentiful, cupboard storage is adequate. Bathroom is large. Bed is hard. Room could be warmer - it’s 3 degrees outside but only a thin duvet. We are booked for dinner in the Michelin star restaurant tonight - here’s hoping it’s more impressive than the hotel.     The Hotel is really nice and you just need to walk 10 minutes and you are in the Centrum. Stuff are really friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is really good. They have parking spaces but you need to reserve them in advance.
