    Got food in the restaurant that you enter from the hotel, ordered burgers and chips when the food arrived the burgers were raw and stone cold we said we couldn't eat this food ,He started to get mad and waving his hands around and said he could reheat it we said no we didn't want it we will just pay for the drinks and we did not touch the food , when to pay for the drinks he said we had to pay for the food we said we are not paying for the food as we did not touch the food and it was raw he replied he would call the police which he did we were there for over an hour haven't discussion with the police he wanted us arrested the receptions from the hotel came in looking for our room number so he could charge us for the food we said you're not charging it to our room as we did not read the food if this happened anywhere else you would get an apology and not be threatened with the police we have photos and video evidence of all of this which was totally totally disgraceful the waiter started recording us as we set waiting for the police, we do not know what story they told the police outside the said we had to pay for the food which I said I not paying for a service I did not receive and if you want to arrest us you can which he changed these mind as I said this is disgraceful for the police to be called over a burger so we paid for our drinks and left, The hotel reception said it had nothing to do with him but he still got involved in it, Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the hotel and restaurant please stay away you have been warned.     One of the worst experience in my traveling life.Wanted to runaway. The basic of hotel is not here. Dirty, old and overpriced. I took this hotel for the position but I regretted as soon as I arrived.The only positive was the person at the front desk. hjs srl, Proprietario at Jr Hotels Amadeus Bologna, responded to this review Dear Guest , I regret for your feedback ; I really can't understand what did you desagree, The hotel is a '90 's building but it has been renewed and we have a very careful staff that takes care and check cleaness each day ;Anyway,,,, we can't please everyone.     10-15 Minutes Drive to Bologna Airport.

    Probably name of this hotel is changed (IH Hotels). There is still confusion about that. Stayed in this hotel at 2 different occasions .First time i stayed for one night in Room 104 on 22 April 2024. Reached very late, had some inconvenience entering the hotel (probably receptionist was busy in answering some medical emergency).But he apologized for that. Room was OK. Breakfast was good.Second time i stayed here again for one night on 24 April 2024.Almost same kind of service, which was above satisfaction. They were able to book taxi for me (which was indeed on time), for my departure to Bologna Airport.     Not in a great area, didn’t feel safe in surrounding streets. Rooms were shabby with lifting laminate flooring and broken plug sockets. Following day we were covered in bed bug bites. Restaurant and bar closed on a Sunday.Receptionist was welcoming AMADEUS HOTEL JR BOLOGNA, Direttore generale at Jr Hotels Amadeus Bologna, responded to this review Dear Yvette , I'm sorry about your disappoint about the Area; it is at 6 km from the historic centre and I can assure you is a quiet and safe area; I'm very sorry about the comment about the rooms; we take all the care possible and for this reason we have long since installed a trap for bed bugs in each room and I am happy to tell you that we don't even have one, so surely your problem was due to something else, perhaps to something you have ingested.Thank you for the compliments at our reception;Best wishesEugenia

    the staff are friendly, especially the Manager Aurelia and the assistant manager Emmanuella, both of them are very professional, respectful, helpful and kind, and i am so glad i was dealing with them.also the cleaning manager Patricia is very nice and i appreciate that the room was always clean.thanks again.
