    Easy walk to anywhere at town

    Booked for three nights superior double room with balcony . It is few steps away tl from train station and very easy walk to town hall center.Easy checkin and checkout ? Room was comfy and terrace facing to beautiful garden . Breakfast was open buffet and quality of food was good

    The hotel is well located as very close to the station which worked for us as we took the monorail and is an easy walk into the centre. FYI is is probably cheaper to take a taxi from the airport rather than the monorail if there are two or more people. Other reviewers have stated that the area has people hanging around and pick pockets but we did not not agree. The area was fairly vibrant. The hotel and foyer are very pleasant. Breakfast is very adequate but could do with more efficient coffee machines as generally there was a queue. The bar and garden area are pleasant but drinks are expensive. The room was not large but acceptable for a few days. We would not recommend paying for a balcony as we had no view [except car park and machinery] and too small to sit outside. Our big complaint is that the pillows [see photo] are appalling and really need to be replaced urgently. Our duvet cover was dirty in one corner and looked like it had been caught in some greasy machinery [see photo]. The Air Con, now that it has been switched on, is very efficient. The bathroom was roomy.

    We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Great location, clean and spacious room, good breakfast, helpful and professional staff have made our stay very pleasant. The hotel has a garden which is an absolute bonus, despite being located close to the train station it is so quiet, you can only hear the birds singing, a perfect place to finish your day while sipping your drink. Absolutely loved it!

    Wonderful stay at Bologna Mercure. Location is very convenient, across the street from the train station for easy access and to drop off bags before heading to main sights in Piazza Maggiore, which is a 20 minute walk away. Room and bathroom are very spacious, and room amenities like slippers, bathrobe, free water and fridge refreshments, including a prosecco, tea/coffee maker are welcome touches. Breakfast is ok, best part of it for me was the juicer, to make fresh fruit/veggie drinks. It was a comfortable stay in a good location.

    Positives : great locatonon opposite station; quiet rooms; lovely garden to chill; spacious room with free mini bar and nespresso machine; table and chairs. Negatives: was on 7th floor and had very warm room but was told airconditioning is not yet turned on, had to sleep with balcony doors open not great because of noise from nearby bar ; very hard mattress; poor wifi signal
