Decent Hotel in Bologne

Decent hotel.A large commute from central station (away from old town of Bologne), however bus stop close by. 20-25 minute ride. (Central station is not the old city and should be considered)Breakfast was good, but nothing special. Staff were pleasant enough.Spa was pretty good and worth the price for 2 hours (private) Hotel room was clean and comfortable, but thin walls can be a problem if neighbours are noisy.Water refill machine available for 1 Euro per liter, but nice addition.

Very good hotel close to Bologna center. Easy to reach with parking in front of hotel. Easy and fast check in. Clean room and comfortable bed, with huge shower. Wide TV with lot of programs:-))Breakfast - lot of options to eat. Good cofee:-) gluten free also 👍That was possitive, but one not so possitive thing is restaurat at the hotel. Menu was available only with one half of menu. Pasta only like Lassagne and Tagliatelle, slower staff....... here is place to be better and be real 4 star hotel.

Very clean hotel, with a Small bar & restaurant that opens for dinner.Breakfast was a good selection of hot & cold options, & food was fresh. Room (third floor) was quiet. We had a kettle and mini fridge, along with Complementary tea, coffee & water. Our room was very hot during the night & we couldn’t get the aircon to work. We had to leave the window open. Nickola at reception was particularly very pleasant & very helpful. But our experience was that all of the people on reception (aside from one) were friendly and helpful. The spa is small, but we used it at the end of our visit to relax & freshen up before leaving for the airport. It was very clean & was great to have it to ourselves. Location of the hotel isn’t great. It is on a busy road & Is quite a distance from the city centre & has no shops or restaurants close by. But it does have outside seating areas, and the number 25 bus stops right outside the hotel and takes you into the heart of Bologna in around 20mins.

Not the best experience

We arrived prior to check in time and were met by one of the rudest individuals we have ever encountered at a hotel. The other staff were very helpful and pleasant, but this man was anything but. When 2pm arrived and I went to the desk to check in, someone else who worked there came up and started speaking to him, he ignored me while I stood there waiting. I have never written a review on a hotel before, but I wanted the hotel to be aware of the very unprofessional greeting we received. Not only that, but another group of what appeared to be a construction crew, were able to check in before 2. No issue for them - maybe it's because they weren't Americans. We could not control the temperature in the room and our view was of a back parking lot. The hotel didn't seem to be terribly busy, so I'm quite certain we could have been given a better room. The spa services that they advertise at their hotel are not available every day of the week and there is a charge to use any of these services. If I were ever to return to this city, I would not stay at this hotel.

Couldnt sleep because of a huge noise!

16.00 o’clock afternoon when we are relaxing before goong for dinner building noices start, somebody is drilling right upstairs. Hotel did not inform when booking that you are not able to sleep during the afternoon! We called reception and got an answer that drilling will still continue!
