The hotel is located in the heart of Bologna. There are shopping options and links to the public transport system directly outside the hotel and a whole host of restaurants and clubs can be reached with minimum effort by foot. From the hotel it is just a short walk to the exhibition centre and the conference buildings and it is just 5 minutes to the city centre. The airport is just a few km away.

Facility

30 single rooms and 90 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available.     Lovely clean, friendly, modern hotel

    Hotel is immaculately clean. Our twin room was large enough for all our luggage apart from only 3 coat hangers I'm sure I could have asked for more but we weren't fussy. Room cleaned every day and towels replenished. We found the soundproofing amazing, no noise whatsoever.Had dinner once while we were here, food was nice but my meal loin was missed and I had to wait for it while my partner ate alone. That put us off eating in-house again.Had breakfast once on our penultimate day. Breakfast was plentiful with the usual fruit, yoghurt, cereal, 3 types of fresh juice, pasties, cakes, croissants, breads and the cold meat and cheese selection was good.Hot buffet of sausage and eggs and bacon was very poor. Food was barely warm, fried eggs were rubbery but scrambled egg was lovely. We did arrive to Breakfast about 40 minutes before it finished so maybe going earlier would be better but this should not be the case. Coffee is on request but very good. We had just finished and we're told we had to leave so they could clean so felt a bit rushed.Beds are comfortable, AC is good, WiFi is good all throughout the hotel including the room and terrace.Roof terrace is small but adequate. Very peaceful and jacuzzi lovely to relax in. There are 5 tables with chairs, 3 sunloungers and 4 bean bag chairs. It was quiet the day we used it from 2pm to 7pm.The gym is small but equipment looked in great condition. Reception staff are the friendliest I've ever come across in a hotel and made us feel extremely welcome, greeting us every morning and evening. Hotel as previous reviews state is outside the centre however we chose this hotel to be close to the train station and the 20 minute walk was interspersed with our breakfast stop at local cafes where you can get a coffee and pastries or croissant for €3-€4 each. I recommend Savhotel.     An excellent choice. Good size room and a gentle 20 walk to the centre of town. Decent breakfast. What brings this to 5 stars is the staff. All the reception and bar staff I encountered were excellent., professional and friendly.     Chilled Stay away from the chaos

    Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Bologna, we hired a car so hotel was ideal with its underground onsite parking.Hotel is stylish, chilled with a great roof terrace to enjoy a drink and relax, the rooms are modern and clean.Breakfast offered is a selection of hot and cold buffet with tea, coffee, juices etc.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if visiting Bologna.
