    We organized our wedding lunch at savoia regency. The restaurant and the staff were wonderful. The location is very nice and the food was very good. They offer different menus. Highly advised if you have allergies or food intollerancies.

    No 4 star hotel, hardly 3. Poor service all over the place. Breakfast not fresh, dirty tables, staff mostly absent. Drinks at the bar are expensive and served with ‘reluctance’. Atmosphere in the breakfast hall is depressing. Overall a disappointing stay.

    Very nice hotel and service. The pool is superb. We travelled with kids and they enjoyed as well. Breakfast is nice and dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good, had dinner there twice. Had a rental car but also took the close-by bus number 20 to downtown Bologna, which was handy. The rooms are good though not newly minted. Airport is close-ish.

    Rude reception staff and unsafe credit card handling practices

    Their reception staff is vey rude and unhelpful, not to mention they have very unsecure practices of handling your credit card information (asking for the full information to be sent by email! Which violates all PCI security standards). Also not ownership from management of the negative experience or unsafe practices. Do not recommend.

    The hotel looks beautiful on the outside, the restaurant is great. The location is nice 15 mins from the airport and close to the center of bologna (you need a car to get into the center quickly). Probably a 10 minute drive. The rooms are classic, bit old styled. The main downside are the beds. Beds are very hard. The mattrass lies on a sold wood plank. I find two things very important in a hotel. The beds and a quiet environment. On one of the two, the hotel isnt up to standards. Keep in mind of you dont want to sleep on very hard bed.
