  Good hotel outside the old town

  I visited Suite Hotel Elite in September of 2025, in order to attend a conference located nearby. The hotel is in a rather nice residential area, outside of the city walls, and is practically next to the airport bus terminal, so it is very easy to access. A main street runs in front of the hotel, with frequent buses running to the city center. As this is a residential area, you can walk to grocery stores, restaurants and cafes. Getting to the old town requires 10 minutes walking to reach the closest city gate; the main square is around 20 minutes. Unfortunately, when I visited the new tramway was under construction, so the city gates and some main roads where always congested, meaning that most of the time it was faster to walk than take a bus, weather permitting. Since the tram is passing right in front of the hotel though, when it is completed, getting to the old town will be far easier and faster.The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms do not seem recently renovated, but they are well maintained, and they were actually quite spacious, well lit, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel provided excellent breakfast, hot and cold items, some variety from day to day, including Italian pastries and coffee made to order on the spot on a professional machine. Staff was great, polite and helpful with everything. I was overall very happy with the hotel and the neighborhood. If the tram was in operation, it would be perfect; the only real downside for me was the traffic when getting the bus to the center.

  Comfortable Hotel with Fresh Breakfast and Helpful Staff

  We had a very pleasant and quiet stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was rich, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. The location is convenient — close to the city center and with easy access to public transportation.There was a small issue with the drainage, and the facilities and equipment could use a little refresh for an even more comfortable experience. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely stay here again for the warm atmosphere and great service.

  There were several aspects of our experience that we truly enjoyed, and a few areas where we believe there is room for improvement.First and foremost, we were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff. They were always courteous and helpful, making our stay more pleasant. The room itself was very clean, which we greatly appreciated. We had a large corner room with a delightful balcony that provided a lovely view. The bathroom was also spacious and well-stocked with plenty of towels.The small kitchen area in our room was a convenient feature, complete with a decent-sized fridge. We also found the handy map and information provided to be quite useful during our stay.However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. We noticed there was only one small lift for the entire eight-storey hotel, which was somewhat inconvenient. Despite the large size of our room, it felt a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. Additionally, we found the bed and pillows to be very firm, which affected our comfort.Another point to note is the ongoing tram construction outside the hotel. While we understand this is beyond your control, it did result in taxis and other transportation needing to take detours, which added to our travel costs. It appears that the tram work is still in the early stages and may continue until 2026, which could be a consideration for future guests.Due to these factors, we are unlikely to stay at your hotel again and may opt for a more centrally located hotel in the future.

  Very good location of the hotel, large and comfortable room, kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. I used the hotel garage - that is also a big advantage. I am very satisfied!
