Too Expensive for What It Offers
04 Jul 2026
?????Our stay was overall acceptable, but the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. While the room was clean and the staff was friendly, the facilities and overall experience did not justify the price. One of the biggest disappointments was that parking is charged separately. Considering the room rates, complimentary parking would have been appreciated. The hotel has potential, but it needs improvements and better value for money. With some upgrades and more inclusive services, it could provide a much better guest experience. Hotel Bologna Fiera, General Manager at UNA Hotels Bologna Fiera, responded to this review Dear guest, many thank for sharing your stay and your suggestion. We are pleased to know the overall stay was pleasent. Hoping to welcome you in a next stay. Best Regards

One of the worst hotel experience on earth
24 May 2026
In this hotel you don’t get drinking water, tea bags, creamer pouches or even a water kettle……. Thats not all….. The AC is pathetic… doesn’t cool the room for 3 hours……. If you ask for the items mentioned above…… first it will be denied…… then later it will be given….. So you have to forget your business trip and focus on asking again and again for above items Hotel Bologna Fiera, General Manager at UNA Hotels Bologna Fiera, responded to this review Dear Divya,we are sorry to see you didn't enjoy the stay and we would like to apologize for not being so quick in getting upstair your request. As in the room description kettles and tea bag are not availabile as our standard and superior room are not equipped, it could take some time to provide all the items. We are sorry you did not appreciate providing item for free as other guest paid for Executive rooms. We took a note of your suggestion to improve our service standard.Brest Regards

Disappointing: lacking customer service.

Well, I didn't like it and won't stay in UNA Hotels again. Very pedestrian. Location is only convenient for attending Fiera events and conferences. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense to stay there. Too far from city center and all sites. I was hosted by Italian side, and couldn't choose my own hotel: it was a conference hotel, and they paid for the room. Upgrading a room to make sure my family can join me was unnecessarily complicated. I couldn't get a response from hotel for 5 days! I got the answer only during the day of arrival after 3 unsuccessful follow ups via email s and even phone. Also, almost every our request was met with indifference or just plain "no". Particularluly insulting was their refusal to provide complimentary water, bottled or filtered. Access to clean water and Wi-Fi, both complimentary, is a must in my hotel checklist. We also didn't like the front desk attitude when we had interactions with them. The upgraded Executive rooms for 3 ppl are ok, nothing special, but adequate and clean. Shower stall was way too small though. Breakfast was also ok, 3 out of 5. Bar was small and with very limited selection. I stay mostly in Accor Hotels in Europe, and they treat me well, especially with Platinum status. Service in UNA was certainly lacking, hence it is 2 stars at best. Don't recommend it. Hotel Bologna Fiera, General Manager at UNA Hotels Bologna Fiera, responded to this review Dear Alex,Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we'd like to clarify some points in your review. We had an extensive email exchange to determine your preferred room type and rate, and we provided exactly what was chosen. You had selected the Executive room for 3 people, and we made sure to accommodate your needs. Regarding complimentary water, we recorded that 2 extra bottles were provided beyond what's standard. Additionally, our hotel offers a pay-per-use minibar and a bar with a selection of drinks. We apologize for the perceived lack of service. We hope you'll give us another opportunity to host you in the future.Best regards,The Management

Excellent city hotel. Smart and modern. Off centre but not too far from Bologna centre. Good breakfast and nice staff.

Excellent quality city style hotel with modern and smart minimalist look. Somewhat plain in areas and might lack character but it is very good quality with superb staff and solid facilities. Enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast, which had everything you wanted to start the day. The bar area does the job and outside area is good in the warm weather. Room quality is high and is smart and clean. Comfortable bed and good sleep each night. Nice big shower and quality feel here too.The walk to the town is straightforward but is about 25 mins to get to the centre. Probably better to taxi it at times. Good location for getting to other areas around Bologna. Leonardo Serranti, Proprietario at UNA Hotels Bologna Fiera, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're very pleased to learn that you consider us an excellent city hotel and appreciate our modern, smart, and minimalist design. We are especially glad that you recognized the high quality of our staff and facilities.
