    The rooms are very nice and very clean and confortable, all personnel from reception to bartender to cleaners to restaraunt and services are incredibly helpfull and very very nice. You feel like you are very taking care in all moments. thanks

    Life savers after KLM debacle

    I should preface this by saying that I did not choose the hotel - rather, KLM bus-ed us in after messing up our flight from Florence. So I couldn't honestly comment on the price (KLM paid) or location - we arrived very late at night, and my flight was early in the morning (though I was a bit surprised how long it took the taxi to get to the airport - I had assumed they would put us somewhere near it)With that out of the way, when we arrived, we were tired, irritated, frustrated, confused etc etc The moment the hotel staff took over, we felt we were in good hands, and things started to look up. Extremely friendly and sympathetic, helping as much as they could, with more and better information than we had received all day.To be honest, the bar food for which we had received vouchers looked a bit sad, so I went to the restaurant instead - and the food was outstanding, as was the service and the advice. A really nice surprise, I had not expected cooking of that quality, and very reasonable prices.After that more winding down at the bar, with another exceptionally nice member of staff who talked me through the different types of amaro, how to drink which one, and what to look out for in taste experience. After the third one or so, I even stopped cursing KLMThen for a few hours to bed - the rooms are cosy, stylish and comfortable. One review mentioned noise - I had the opposite experience, almost eerily quiet.
