  Exceptional Compassion and Kindness – Thank You Hotel AmbasciatoriI want to express my deepest gratitude to Hotel Ambasciatori Brescia for their outstanding compassion and understanding during a very difficult time.Due to a sudden and devastating medical emergency—my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer—we were sadly unable to go ahead with our trip. Although our booking was non-refundable, the hotel responded to our situation with genuine empathy and humanity.Without hesitation, and despite having every right to enforce the original terms, they gave us a full refund. Their kindness and flexibility meant so much to us at a time when we were overwhelmed and heartbroken.In a world where policies often come before people, Hotel Ambasciatori Brescia stood out as truly exceptional. Their actions showed not only professionalism but also a deep sense of care and compassion.We will never forget this gesture and look forward to staying with them in the future when life allows. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone—not only for their service, but for their humanity.Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

  A nice hotel for a family sleepover in Brescia. Parking at the hotel and nice breakfast.

  We were on a family roadtrip and needed to stay near Brescia, where four of us could sleep in a room, leave our car and start the next day with a nice breakfast. All of these we found in the Ambasciatori hotel, where the staff was very accommodating, great selection of foods and drinks at breakfast and though the hotel shows its years, it is well maintained and clean. Our room was next to the elevator, so for light sleepers try to get another room, I could hear the elevator sound throughout the evening/night, but was luckily too tired to really bother me ;). I would consider this hotel again if I would need to stay in Brescia.

  There are only good things to say about this hotel. The staff and the owners were all really helpful, kind and friendly, always gave good recommendations and places to visit. The locations is beautifully centered, good parking spots, a clean hotel with good breakfast. You get a lot of value for your money. Definitely would stay here again if we go back to Brescia. Such a positive experience, would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to stay in Brescia.

  The town is a pretty one but this hotel is bad! I will never go back in this hotel!!!! This hotel has 2* not 4* ! Shame!

  Is not a 4* hotel! The breakfast is criticaly! Not eateble! One thing is good in this hotel: is very clean but in rest is bad. How is possible that a 4* hotel to not have restaurant service in the evening?they have restaurant but it is closed!!!! We have been working for almost 55 years, every day with passion. We were astonished to read your comment and we don't understand the reason you give us a “1”. We offer a rich buffet breakfast every morning until 10.30, considered excellent by almost all our guests. We don’t accept the consideration that our breakfast is “not eatable”. We have more than 100 references : 5 homemade cakes, pastry croissant, regional cheese and salami, eggs, organic jams, dried and fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, 4 juice, 5 yougurt …… and all of good quality .We have a restaurant open every day except Saturday and Sunday (as also indicated on our website and on Booking). Friday, Your arrival day, we were open but we had not the honour to serve you our local dishes and wines. We offer always a 24 h. room service with toasts, sandwiches and pizzas. We have a lot of restaurants very close and the city centre is less 1 km from us. So we don’t understand the reason why you remarked a “no food” service. We always try to satisfy all our guests.   There are some positives for this hotel, and definitely negatives. Frankly, we probably would not stay here again.The ground floor public rooms are fairly elegant, and the staff is genuinely warm and welcoming. While they are distant from "downtown", and this is not a city you will want to drive in, they are only 300 meters from a metro station. A taxi ride downtown (or back) is only 7 0r 8 euros. Eden, a fine restaurant, is a 7 or 8 minute walk and the neighborhood isn't bad.We have had dreadful breakfasts at 4 star "chain hotels" in Modena and Parma. Theirs was marginally better. The coffee was drinkable, the yogurt acceptable; the "orange juice" supermarket generic, and the pastries and bread ok but nothing special.The real problems are above and below. While considerable effort has been made to put everything in our bedroom we might need, you needed a shoe horn to use them. The rooms are old ship stateroom small, and retrofitted as best they could, annoyingly claustrophobic.Had considerable problems with the wifi. It wouldn't accept VPN unless I brought my laptop to the ground floor. The two elevators worked fine, but as you might expect, were very small.The hotel offers "free parking=stunted spaces in front of the main entrance, suitable for a Fiat 500 and not much more, or in the garage. The garage is more like a dirty dungeon, two layers with stanchions making it a Rubik's cube problem to get into a still small space. There is no elevator, so be prepared for a very steep walk up the ramps. With some luck, the lights might stay on..for awhile. The garage is grease stained and doesn't look like it has been cleaned in a long time.We liked Brescia. At this price point and the "4 star rating" we expected more. If we return, we will look for another venue.
