Beatiful place, a bit worn, but cosy and in beuatiful surroundings

Very authentic Italian/Calabrian family owned hotel. The view is astonishing especially from the restaurant.The room we got, was OK. There were wear and tear - signs of time, especially on the toilat/bathroom, but it was absolutely useable, however some refurbishment should be considered within next coming years. The aircon was well working, however a bit noisy.Breakfast was OK - not top nodge - but on the average. Only eggs made, was hard boiled, cold eggs. Buns (white), and taost bread - with a toaster standing nearby. The coffee was made from saff directly, and the best coffee i have had, for years!!No lunch are served (no card), but if you ask the staff, they can make you a salad, which are served with a bun. It is OK - but 14 days with salad for lunch each day...... Yeah.... I have never eaten so many tomatoes and olives, in 14 days, as I did on Ruralia ;-)Pool area was nice. There were enough sunbeds, and also a good balance between sun spots and shade. Nice pool. A shower was also by the pool - but no privacy.The staff was friendly - but in the 14 days we were there, we only saw any of them smiling, a very few times. They seemed tired and disengaged. We was there ind end of July, start of August - maybe it was at the end of the main season, and they actually were tired.Last day, we were scheduled to be picked up at 1630 - but we had to be out of the room at 1000. Only place to be, was at the pool. Luggage in the reception, and there were no possibilities having a shower. And it was not possible to rent a room for the ekstra day.Staff was there, when we left the hotel - saying goodbye. That was nice :-)

It is not wort it at all If you want to be in this area only book hotels in Tropea close to the center where all the action right from beach to resturants all are there

We've had a lovely week at Ruralia which is located in lovely quiet place surrounded by nature (fruit trees,olive trees,vegetables gardens).Amazing view at Stromboli!!!The apartment was very basic and outdated however had everything we needed. The restaurant serves amazing local dinners in very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was alright (croissants,bread;cheese,ham,jam,fresh fruits ,tomatoes,boiled eggs,hot drinks,water and juice).All staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner always around welcoming guests.We've felt like time stopped for a week which was what we were looking for.

Agriturismo Ruralia is an awesome place to be. Good location, close to Tropea and to many beautiful beaches. It has a beautiful view on the Tyrrhenian Sea. We had an awesome time - good food, beautiful nature, swimming pool and very nice personnel. The owners are very welcoming and always willing to give advice on what to see, they help with car rentals and excursion bookings. It was one of the best vacations ever, such a relaxing place.

Thanks Lorenzo for the great week at your hotel. Such a beautiful spot. Specially the room S1 with the best view ever! The room was big and the terrace perfect to have a great glass of wine before going to bed.The pool, stuff and breakfast was good!Big hug, all the best!
