One of the best holiday ever

The campus is well located near the airport (only 15 minutes by bus).All the staff were nice and helpful. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone from the receptionist to the cleaners. This created a nice atmosphere on the campus. I would like to highlight the lifeguards who took their job really seriously (especially compared to lifeguards in other resorts where they are more or less formal), so I was not afraid to leave the children alone.The food was delicious and regularly replenished. There was plenty of food and drinks throughout the day. I personally loved the beach bar where they served fried seafood.Another thing I really liked was the unlimited fresh juices during breakfast. If I were a member of the resort management, I would highlight this in the resort description.The only restaurant I cannot recommend is the Grill restaurant. I was there once, they served grilled tuna and shrimp. Both were tasteless and the tuna was really dry.The room was simply furnished but large and clean. Daily cleaning was done with utmost care.A pleasant surprise was the level of music during the evening programs. I am used to loud music in Italian resorts, but here the noise level was as if we were not in Italy.All the toilets in the complex were clean and in perfect condition, except the one by the family pool which was terrible (all week).In conclusion, I can say that we got very good value for our money!

Since we arrived at the hotel in the morning, it was not possible to get a room yet, which we understood. What we did not understand, however, was that we had to wait for multiple hours without the possibility of drinking or eating.We could not even get a drink at the bar as we were told that we have to wait and pay for lunch and drinks all together. After making a inquiry about being thirsty and wanting to drink, only after that we got water bottles and were told that there are multiple refill machines around the resort. We wanted to fill our bottles with pineapple juice, but unfortunately there were bugs swimming in it.

If you are looking for Family hotel, which is situated not in the middle of city life for good Price you found it. Nice area for children but also beach bar for adults. Not brand new but for good Price

Thanks to Falkensteiner Resort for the amazing experience – everything was great, the sea was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. I really love that place! Huge thanks also to Nivardo for his great stretching and pool workouts – he’s such a kind and awesome person!

Not What We Expected for the Price

We arrived after 23:00 and paid the full price for our first day. I requested a late check-out and was asked to pay an additional €50, which seemed excessive. The food was average overall, the desserts didn’t taste good at all. Despite being an all-inclusive resort, we had to rent or buy towels, which was disappointing.No shuttle from and to Airport, they suggest a taxi for 40 Euro each way.Cleanliness throughout the resort was poor, and our room had noise coming from outside slamming doors. The toilet didn’t work properly and had a bad smell. For the price we paid, the experience didn’t meet our expectations.In the restaurant, there were plenty of staff clearing dishes very quickly, sometimes even before we finished eating, while managers mostly stood around or watched from the door. The beverage selection was very limited, and the pizza definitely could be much better (I’m Italian).On the positive side, the kids' club was nice, and the staff there did a great job entertaining the children. The beach facilities were very basic, just sunbeds and umbrellas, with no showers, no animation, and no group activities. The resort wasn’t even full during this period, so the lack of service and attention was surprising, other all inclusive resorts in Calabria are definitely better. I gave also some feedbacks to one of the reception manager but she was careless.
