Shocking Accommodation stay in TOWN Centre

We sent email before arrival requesting new accommodation and received a welcome response. On arrival told breakfast not included extra €15 each per day website €5. I had proof of breakfast so was accepted. We were put in old apartments. Shocking condition. Shower leaking, press needs painting, curtains hanging down, no rooms cleaned or fresh towels in 4 days, had to ask for toilet roll and worst or all had to put towels at door to stop maggots coming into room. Unfortunately Maggots on bedroom floor and woke up to maggots in bed last night had to stay up until departure. On departure tried to change for 4 ice-cream instead of 2 would not give receipt on date of purchase. No shop or food on site only breakfast and €20 to town in taxi and €20 back. Had to walk from train station 25 minutes on dangerous road. Do Yourself a favor stay in Town Tropea is BEAUTIFUL this accommodation is Shocking if put in old apartments. Photos show difference don't chance it.

Very relaxing experience, 10/ 15 minute walk to Tropea town centre. Location very quiet, little or no traffic noise.Quality continental breakfast , with an amazing view of Tropea and the turquoise sea.Hotel has a bar (not a late bar) but no restaurant.Swimming pool is fine with an abundance of loungers.Room smallish but adequate, good size bathroom and shower. Room had a fridge and small safe.The rooms have a shaded area with a couple of chairs and table , plus a couple of deck chairs with a parasol on the artificial grass.The hotel/ residence ideal for guests who prefer a quieter holiday.Supermarket 5 mins away and very good restaurant 10 minutes away.The staff very friendly, helpful.If you stayed for more than a week a car would be handy to explore the beautiful coastline and countryside, there is also a train station in Parghelia and Tropea . Pasqual ( reception) very helpful and gave good advice on restaurants and trips.A very enjoyable stay

We have been in the residence me and my family. Was good staying the only thing I thought we were going to have a basic support from the hotel for example the commuting as the place is not in the centre of the city. I had to pay for the taxi many times and experience for Calabria. There is no shuttle service.I really appreciate and happy to say that one of the staff Pasquale was very helpful and polite all the time. I definitely recommend to have an experience there for Pasquale and if you have a car to commute anywhere you would like to go.Many thanks Fatima

This was really Amazing, lovely views,and relaxing.The apartment was good,very clean and comfortable.The staff were nice,kind and friendly.I would recommend this place.Breakfast was great,as they served us gluten free, lactose free, egg free.keep it up.

We could not use the pool

It is a very nice place, the staff are very helpful and it is a good service.They hade placed a bottle of wine in our fridge to welcome us??It takes at 10 min walk to center of Tropea.The pillows are little hard I think.But what was the most disappointing thing for us was that you need to wear a cap on your head when bathing in the pool. Because of this we did not use the pool at all and we love to hang at the pool and not just the beach. A big minus for that??
