Feels like being at home

This was our third stay at Hotel Bussola. We enjoy this charming hotel so much. The owners are the nicest most welcoming people you will ever meet. The staff is professional and accommodating. The breakfast is amazing. Having drinks by the pool overlooking the sea is like something out of a fairytale. Since it doesn't have hundreds of rooms you feel comfortable, destressed, unrushed, and at home. It's a short walk into the town of Anacapri which is far less crowded and pretentious than Capri (which is just a short bus ride). There is a wonderful little Salumeria a very short walk from the hotel. I have travelled all over Italy many times and this is my favorite place to stay. Thank you again Rita, Ciro, and Cristiano for another Italian vacation highlight.

Amazing family run hotel. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and great to give honest tips of where to go and what to do. Spotlessly clean and comfortalbe rooms. Very taslefully decorated giving a great ambiance to the whole hotel. Very quiet area. Beautiful pool area. Nicely located and very reasonably priced, especially for Capri. Will definitely return with friends.

Beautiful hotel in quiet Anacapri
29 Jul 2026
The staff at Hotel Bussola are simply incredible. Very nice, eager to provide as much help as possible. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great location in a quiet but connected part of Anacapri. It has really cool interior decorations and a good pool. Our only real issue was that the beds were not very comfortable and decreased our quality of sleep (also the queen bed that we booked was really two doubles put together, which is not the same). Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Just wonderful!

This hotel is a true gem: aside from its quiet location in one of Anacapri’s side alleys it stands out for its cleanliness, the hospitality, the professional & lovable owners & staff, lovely decor and amenities! The welcome upon checking in was warm and very individual: I received lots of useful information (also in the following days). On top, the owners and the staff was always ready for a small chat and they asked me about my plans and how days went. The room was sparkling clean, had a refrigerator, aircon/heating, safe. The view from my window/balcony lovely. I slept like a baby as it was quiet.Breakfast was typically Italian with various cornettos and freshly made coffee specialties plus cold cuts, cheese and some cereals. The hotel also has a fantastic pool area with small pool bar. I had a wonderful time and hope to come back!
