Just a few steps away from Villa San Michele and the Monte Solaro chair lift, the hotel enjoys a superb position in the centre, just off the road which leads to all of the most interesting and best loved places on the island such as the Piazzetta, Marina Piccola, the Grotta Azzurra, the Punta Carena Lighthouse, and the port of Marina Grande. Links to the public transport network are on the hotel's doorstep. The beach is around 1.5 km away.

The apartment hotel has 15 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     This hotel is rated 3-Star and this is possibly a slight disservice in my opinion.Very convenient short walk to Anacapri town centre and a bus stop just outside to take you to Capri, Blue Grotto or Marina Grande. Just look out for what the little buses have on the front when they arrive, which is very frequent.Rooms are big and comfortable for two people and we slept very well. Small balcony we didn’t use but was nice. The bathroom was good and tastefully decorated with a walk-in shower. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen.Breakfast is good for a 3-star with enough choice for a few days stay with excellent coffee too. Staff all very helpful and attentive, answering all questions that we had and offered to arrange tickets and excursions on our behalf if we wished.Pool Area is nice and clean. We didn’t use it as we only stayed for two days and were exploring mostly. It is open to non-guests so there were some local teenagers around making a bit of noise but it was a sunny day and the weekend so I do not blame the hotel for this minor inconvenience.If we returned to Capri we would certainly stay again as it’s excellent value for the island.

    We went to this hotel for a couple of days and it was a very nice surprise. The hotel got everything you can possibly need, the receptionist Rosa is very professional and is very attentive to every details, she show us the best ways to visit the island properly and she gave us a lot of advices. The hotel has also a pool that is pretty big with the snack bar next to it, very calm and relaxing, my kids really enjoyed it. I will recommend it to everybody and we will be back 100%

    If you're coming to Anacapri, you can't miss staying at Hotel Carmencita. The staff is incredibly attentive to your requests, from the welcome desk where they explain the best places to visit, to the homemade breakfast, to the pool, which is open year-round for those who want it. Thank you and see you next year!

    We stayed here for only one night and it was lovely. Great location close to Anacapri's town center. Shuttle stop is right next door. Breakfast was excellent with tons of options including grilled vegetables. Pasquale at the pool bar was the best. Really nice time, would go back.
