Room with an Amazing View

This is a nicely owned family hotel with amazing views. Our room was large with an absolutely amazing view of the harbor. We enjoyed every minute of stay on the balcony, we even bought a bottle of wine to enjoy. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The homemade breakfast pastries were delicious and the cappuccino was excellent. This hotel is a small hike from the port, but the views very worth it.

First off this is not a luxury hotel, so if you are expecting that it's not for you. BUT it was extremely comfortable, pleasant and has fantastic views. It is centrally located and so convenient to walk to the main square. The breakfasts were delightful with fruit and homemade cakes. And we even had a little seafacing balcony - drinking wine and eating snacks on there as the sun went down was magical! However most of all the woman that ran the place was incredibly kind and really made our stay great. She went out of her way to make sure we were OK when we had a bit of a medical emergency and was just so pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend - save your money here instead of a luxury hotel and spend the left over money on limoncello and pasta!

very nice hotel in Capri

we stayed 5 days at Esperia hotel in July, the hotel is very clean, the staff also is very friendly, they recommended to us some good restaurants ,also very helpful with everything. The breakfast was good, with croissants and some others things sweet like cookies, home made cakes.The view it is stunning, you cand stay on the terrace area to admire the sea view!

Late check in time but still rooms not ready and no explanation and no ice

I have arrived before 2pm, despite knowing that check in wasn't until 3pm. At 3pm I checked in but still haven't been allowed to go to my room at 3.20pm. All I want to do is have a shower and change to go out and explore Capri. I have one day here. Also, I asked for ice to reduce the swelling of my knee but they don't seem to have any. Finally got my key at 3.20, having been sitting on the gorgeous terrace with the lovely view but sadly with dirty tales. I hope to say that my visit improves later.

Just look at the views...We arrived and was greeted by friendly staff who offered to upgrade our room to a sea facing room. It was on the third floor. No elevators in the building, so be prepared for stairs (as with the whole of Capri). Arriving with luggage, I recommend using the porter services. We lugged our baggage up and we struggled...Comfortable bed and fast wifi. Breakfast was OK. Not your hot meal breakfast, but sufficient cakes and croissants. Some restaurants recommend nearby were good too! Room conditions were on the poorer side, but functional. Don't have too high expectations and you'll be OK.
