Good for after a cruise and close to train station

    rating30 Apr 2026

I stayed here after a cruise. Make sure to take the "GREEN BUS" from the port, it will drop you at the train station steps from the hotel. If you take the red bus, which is free, it will drop you far away, and then you'll have to take an expensive 40 Euro taxi.Check-in was easy, and I was grateful for the elevator. My room was on the plain side and didn't have a suitcase rack to unpack my suitcase. I had to put it on the floor, which I thought was odd. It was clean and comfortable, with a NESPRESSO machine, which was nice in the morning. I was in room 211 - if you want a view, you'll see an alley and trash cans. It was at least quiet. Also, no iron or ironing board is provided. The bathroom is beautiful, but be careful in the tub; it is extremely narrow. Everyone in the reviews raves about the breakfast, and I will, too. It's a must. They provide everything, but sadly, the eggs and sausages aren't on a hot plate, so you'll be eating them cold. I was traveling alone and a little concerned about the maid service, so I used my room safe. When I asked for some assistance, they were less than helpful and acted annoyed.Remember, when you leave, you have to pay an additional city tax.Locations was great for restaurants and sightseeing. They're there for the tourists, so expect high food prices. A stoner's throw from the train station. Buy your ticket online easier than struggling with the machines.

    Fantastic hotel

    rating30 Apr 2026

Fab hotel. We transferred from Naples for an overnight stay before joining a cruise ship. Its no walk at all from train station making it super handy (glad we did some homework last time we were in Civitavecchia as we'd have looked stupid asking for a taxi from train station!)We had a sea view room and it was HUGE. So much space and a very comfortable bed. Despite being at the front of the hotel we heard very little noise. Its an older style hotel and the lift was great but we did use the stairs for exercise. Its a perfect location for walking along to the sea front restaurants for dinner.Breakfast in the morning was perfect. Loads of choices and constantly being refreshed. The coffee was delicious.Reception staff were superb and we were so lucky to get into our room early (complete the online reservation in advance as this might help)We got the bus to port from the train station and it was only 6 Euros. The taxi option was way more expensive and made no sense when the bus to port was so close to hotel. We would absolutely stay at this hotel in the future. Would highly recommend.

A great hotel in a great location

    rating02 Apr 2026

We stayed here pre cruise and can honestly say I couldn’t fault a thing staff we’re wonderful on check inn and found rooms to check us inn early . We had both the mosaic suite and a regular room and both while old word charm were exceptionally clean and quiet. The mosaic suite was spacious and provided ample room to chill and relax as well as a second guest bathroom. The reasonable min bar provided refreshments at a small cost. The new girl who assisted us to the bedrooms was a pleasure to deal with. Breakfast next morning had a wide range of items and set us up for the am, while not a big spread it was sufficient in a lovely setting. Location of the hotel was amazing less than 10 min driver to port and walking distance to shops bars and dining . I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel in fact I’m back Oct 24th 2026.Guest Walshe
