This hotel is about 20min walk from the train station. Reception staff were efficient. The Superior Sea view rooms are worth the extra money. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable with extra pillows in the wardrobe. There is plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. There is a safe, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities with a bottle of water provided every day. There are plenty of plugs. It could do with a refresh but was immaculate. Would have appreciated a full length mirror. The balcony was large with a table, two chairs and one lounger. The bathroom is very compact. There is pump soap, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. The hairdryer is strong. There is no curtain in the cave like shower so you have to be careful. The outside area is well laid out with beds around the pool, facing the sea and on a small manmade beach. You are allocated sun beds on arrival, which is a good idea. A great saving as renting them elsewhere is very expensive. There is a walkway which puts you straight into the sea without having to walk across rocks. There is a pool bar - be aware the prices change every time. The half board option was worth it and is very seafood based. Staff were lovely and the food we had was delicious. Wine options were very fairly priced. The breakfasts were ok, a decent amount of options but not the best quality. Refilling of empty drinks etc was very slow, as was table clearing. The older woman was a rude bully, often to be seen chatting, having a coffee of a cigarette. The poor man was run ragged. Would recommend for a short break.

We booked a one-night stay before leaving on a cruise from Civitavecchia. We arrived at night and left after breakfast the next morning. Our room had lovely seaside view. Upon arrival we enjoyed relaxing cocktails at the seaside and a delicious breakfast next morning. When unpacking next day on the ship, I realized I left my sweater in the hotel closet, called and emailed the hotel office. Not only did they find my sweater, they boxed it up and worked with me (over several days and numerous emails) to help me arrange a pickup and shipping to another location in Italy. It says so much about the hotel staff, and Martina specifically, that she was so dedicated to help me with this. I'd unconditionally recommend this hotel to travelers and would book again in the future.
