    Quaint small hotel (~28 rooms). Excellent service from the front desk check in to free breakfast buffet. Coffee always available. Free shuttle to a "sister" restaurant (wonderful food). Nice room with nice size bathroom. Free wifi. Shops short walk.

    I can not recommend this hotel enough. The staff can not do enough for you. The hotel is lovely and clean with nice size rooms. You are about 15 minutes walk to the port for cruise ships and the hotel does a shuttle service to the port and also to airport. If you need to stay in Civitavecchia before a cruise this is the one

    Booked through our travel agent. Two nights. We used their shuttle service to pick us up at the airport in Rome & transport to Civitavecchia. (Cost was 130€ paid in cash to the hotel upon arrival. Tip the driver not included. The price was clearly provided in our reservation email. We know we could have gotten the metro cheaper, but we are “mature” travelers and want comfortable and convenient transportation). Hotel Traiano provided detailed information through email and timely answers to my email questions. It’s a great location and great for pre-cruise stay. Nice place to walk and see shops and local stuff. Informative, friendly, clean place. Wonderful Italian breakfast !

    Although the room was pretty old, it was very clean. Mattress sure needs to be changed as the springs were felt everywhere. Breakfast was very good. The front desk staff was awesome and very friendly. Esp the young man who helped us park the car.

    Quiet Friendly Hotel

    Stayed here for two nights pre-cruise. Hotel was ideal for a short stay, our room was very clean and extremely spacious. We were welcomed by friendly staff who were helpful and arranged a shuttle to the cruiseport on the day of departure. The highlight of our stay was a visit to Frederico's Cookery Class located nearby, we had a terrific time and the cost which was reasonable also included transport to the class and back to the hotel. You can make enquiries about the class at reception.
